  The experience at Tulia was great. The staff were always so friendly, the tent was very large and had everything you would need. Being able to overlook Mount Kilimanjaro from your tent, and just sit outside under the stars was incredible. Each meal was treated as though you were at a 5 star restaurant with multiple courses available.

  Wow!!!! This camp was our favourite camp of the trip, it was breathtaking with insane views of Kilimanjaro. It feels a lot more at nature than some of the bigger camps we stayed at. Animals at Ambroselli are lesser than the Masai Mara and Lake Narakuru but the views here were much more incredible. Make sure you do two parks! We fell in love with Tulia, thanks for making our honeymoon special.

  Tulia Camp: Our Absolute Favorite—Harnessing the Magic of Amboseli! Out of all the places we stayed during our five-day safari, Tulia Camp was, without a doubt, our favorite. The setting alone is spectacular: the breathtaking backdrop of Mount Kilimanjaro is visible right from the camp. Combined with the friendly, upbeat staff, they create an atmosphere that is both excited and wonderfully relaxed during breakfast and dinner. Luxury Tents & Incredible Details Our tent was simply incredible. While it looks like a tent, it felt much more permanent and secure. You could actually see the mountain view from inside the tent! The pool set right on the decking was a fantastic, luxurious addition. Inside, the attention to detail was top-notch: we had instant hot water and even two sinks, which felt impressive for a camp. The bathroom wasn't canvas; it was a permanent, tiled space. It’s a tent, yes, but it’s definitely elevated luxury camping! Location, Food, and Atmosphere The food was excellent, and we appreciated that you could watch it being cooked if you wanted to. The decor and little thoughtful touches really added to the special occasion feel of the camp. It's also perfectly located just outside the park's gates, making access easy. Starting the day with that view, and ending it around the fire pit in the evening, was just amazing. They even prepared us an excellent packed lunch for our departure day. Final Verdict We were lucky enough to have the perfect mountain view, but even without it, Tulia Camp felt like a truly special place. In terms of location, food, accommodation, and atmosphere, they clearly harness the magic of Amboseli National Park. We would highly, highly recommend Tulia Camp for your stay!

  Overall our group of 6 had a wonderful experience here Oct 2025. The staff was very warm, welcoming and worked hard to ensure a great experience. The tents were simple and nothing fancy, everything was clean and comfortable. We were thrilled to consistently have hot water for showers (this wasn’t always the case at other “luxury” camps we visited). All the food was decent to pretty good. Vegetarian meals had limited variety, but there was always a vegetarian option at least. The WiFi consistently worked well throughout the property. Our group stayed at the tents in front of the watering hole, and this was a really stand out experience! Dawn and dusk here were teeming with wildlife coming to visit from elephants, to zebras, gazelles, warthogs, birds and more. The plunge pools on the deck were a nice amenity. The morning views of Mount Kilimanjaro were beautiful and the evening stars were so abundant and bright. We visited during the dry season and it was incredibly dusty and bumpy with big ditches on the route to / from the park which took ~35-45mins to get to the gate with the difficult to navigate roads. Once inside the park, the roads were very similar, so ensure you’ll be in a comfortable vehicle for the game drives. Definitely pack face coverings for the dust and ladies make sure to pack sports bras.

  Greta place to stay very close to the gate. Staff was very friendly, the cooked to order meals were fantastic and the view of the watering hole amazing! If I had one recommendation it would be to ensure the packed picnic meals were fresh. Mine had a stale muffin. Highly recommend!
