  Amazing place. This views are incredible. Wake up to see Mount Kilimanjaro. Very close to Amboseli National Park.

  Our room was fantastic - right at the base of Mt. Kilimanjaro and the wildlife right outside our room with the nearby watering hole was next level - the food and service of the staff was outstanding - I had a wonderful massage as well; I would highly recommend this resort!!

  A really magical location; far off the beaten track. The staff couldn’t be friendlier or more helpful. The food was good. Our room (number 15) is one of the suites with the plunge pool. It has a totally magical view of Kilimanjaro, which I could never tire of. It’s very peaceful and quiet. A special mention to Moses, our guide. He was the best; so friendly, knowledgeable and fun. Don’t hesitate to book here’s and choose the suite if you can

  Tawi is an incredible lodge! Before choosing to stay there we ran comparisons between dozens of lodges in and around the area and Tawi came out the “winner” in terms of price, menu, accommodations, and activities. Their beautiful rooms, which all face Mount Kilimanjaro, looked onto watering holes where the elephants, giraffes, zebras et al visited daily, and the grounds and pool areas flourished with beautiful plants and an endless variety of birds! The food was spectacular and EVERY single one of the staff members made you feel like you were the only guest being catered to! The game drives were simply breathtaking with an abundance of wildlife, and the sheer magnificence of the sunsets during the sundowners along with the awareness that you were surrounded, from a distance, by some of the most beautiful animals on the planet, offered a complete disconnect from the rest of the world! We would like to offer a special THANK YOU to Claire whose attention to detail, her kindness, efficiency, friendliness, and patience (with our never ending questions) throughout the booking process and during our stay, further confirmed that choosing Tawi was the obvious choice!

  We had the most amazing time staying in Amboseli and at Tawi Lodge. John, Boniface, Titus & Rose really looked after us and we’re truly grateful. The location was incredible and the food was divine. When it came to the game drives, we were looked after by Gabriel... who was simply the best. His knowledge blew us away. He was charismatic, thoughtful, kind and funny. We really couldn’t have asked for a better person to show us around. We learnt so much from him and he made our whole experience so special. We will endeavour to return!!
