1. The short version

Some links on BestKenya.ke are affiliate links. If you click one and go on to book, we may earn a commission from the partner. You pay the partner's normal price; the commission comes out of their side, not yours.

2. Who we work with

We currently take part in one affiliate programme:

• Viator (a Tripadvisor company) — tours, safaris, day trips and activities in Kenya. Links go to viator.com and carry our partner identifier.

We will update this page if we add or remove a partner.

3. How affiliate links are labelled

Every affiliate call to action on the site is marked “Affiliate link” next to the partner name and links back to this page. In the page code the link also carries rel="sponsored", which tells search engines it is a commercial link.

Ordinary links in our articles — to official park authorities, government visa portals, airlines or the businesses we list — are not affiliate links unless labelled as above.

4. Editorial independence

Affiliate relationships do not decide what we write, which places we recommend, or how we rank them. Prices, entry fees and practical advice in our guides come from our own research and are not adjusted to favour a partner. Where we suggest a bookable tour, it is because it fits the topic of the article you are reading.

5. What is tracked

When an affiliate call to action appears on your screen or you click it, we record which article and placement it was, so we can tell which pages are useful. The link you follow carries a short campaign tag identifying the article and placement — nothing that identifies you personally.
