We stayed three nights, the rooms are clean and we had fresh towels and soap. The stuff is very friendly and the food super yummy and big portions (they make breakfast and dinner at request). The camp is located in a quiet area half n hour away from the Amboseli-Nationalpark. There are a lot of nice birds and flowers and you can really calm down at this place. We also did a safari. We asked the host for help and he organised a ranger, who picked us up the next morning directly from the camp, drove with us to the national park and gave us a full-day experience at the national park. In the end he drove us back to the camp. By night and also early in the morning we were able to see the Kilimanjaro from the camp that was awesome! Thanks a lot again Amboseli Eco Camp!

I am aware that its an eco camp and actually a nice experience, i have read not so good reviews and had low expectations but during our stay we had a decent and good time. They dont have wifi at all so you must have ample data, its a good detox i must say. We have a very nice view of Mt. Kilimanjaro in our balcony, the room itself is big.. Bed and pillows are comfy, there are sockets to charge your gadgets. No bidet in the toilet but hot shower in the middle of nowhere is a major plus! It was quiet and peaceful, hearing so many birds chirping which is so relaxing. They have mosquito nets, yet surprisingly no bugs or mosquitoes. We stayed a night, month of September, t'was chilly and had rainshowers all night, we slept well. It was kind of muddy in the morning but still doable to walk.. Food is good and yummy in my liking, apart from bfast other meals aren't included, gotta pay them cash. So far the staff are polite and helpful, check in and out were both smooth. We requested and they provided airport pick up and naivasha drop off, with a decent price but dont expect a big car but did the job. You will see giraffee, on the way casually hanging out on the side of the road. The road going to the eco camp is kind of bumpy. If you decide to go Amboseli Eco Park, its about 30mins drive. We had a good stay, so i do recommend them😊

We had already booked and paid for three rooms a few months ago. Now we arrived, and they had given our rooms to someone else for more money. We were told to try the neighbors. That's not how a company treats customers.

Room downgrade without excuse or explanation - do NOT book the double room with shared bathroom! Our tour operator booked one of the cottages for us so they checked us in a cottage, and I have to say they are very beautiful. After 2 hours they said they gave us the wrong room and put us into the room shown in the photos and the difference was stark. Very small dark room. Community toilet and shower, the light in the toilet and shower did not function and the shower could not be closed. No power socket in the room. Shared sitting area with only broken chairs. A truly run-down, desolate place. We checked with our tour guide, he assured us he did not book this room so probably they overbooked and put us there. Also strangely all other rooms were empty (there are ~5 which share one toilet) even though online the eco camp is fully booked. If we had booked this room knowing it was very simple, okay. But relocating us from the cottage in this room is unacceptable in my opinion.

This place must have been a great place some years ago but it clearly lacks maintenance. Our lodge was clean but armchairs and table on the balcony were broken, the mosquito net had several holes, the bathroom door handle was loose and the shower pipe was not well fixed on the wall. We were not confident on the water heating system since electric connectors were close to the shower head. Great view on the Kilimanjaro in the morning. The food was good. The manager didn’t seem really concerned when my wife suggested him to fix the lodge.
