The Almanara Boutique Hotel is second to none! It's absolutely stunning, with an unobstructed view of Diani Beach and the Indian Ocean. It's a mansion that's been converted into a boutique hotel and you can definitely tell; the hotel as a whole is gorgeous. Our room was so spacious, had a walk in closet on the way to the bathroom, and the bathroom itself was massive. The private balcony was also a huge plus. Because it only has a handful of rooms (5 or 6), the staff is able to focus on you and truly provide a luxury experience. Everyone who works there is so kind and attentive and makes sure you have everything you could ever need. Also, because of its boutique nature, there can only be a handful of guests staying there at one time so for part of our stay, we were completely alone during the day which was amazing. Now for the food... the food was OUTSTANDING. Their chefs are amazing at what they do and they made us some of the best food I have ever had. I'm still dreaming about the soups and seafood. Overall, if you want to live like a billionaire, the Almanara Boutique Hotel is the place for you. This place is so serene and relaxing and I cannot recommend this hotel enough.

Located on Diani Beach! Beautiful! The staff and food were excellent! Excellent laundry service! The complex and rooms are beautiful, but they are starting to look dated and need upgrades. They are spotlessly clean! Suitable for an older crowd! Quiet and relaxing! Negative: Too many steps and levels

Beware of thieves among the staff! They steal money from your pockets and wallets while you are on the beach. We stayed there for a week from the end of December until January 6th. These are definitely employees, because the hotel has normal security and video surveillance, and they were doing an investigation. By calling the police, we were accused of having too much cash!

Absolutely fabulous boutique hotel. The quality of everything is superb - the accommodation is luxurious, the food is wonderful (seafood is incredible), the staff are so welcoming and friendly. The location on the white sand beach is unbeatable. I highly recommend a boat trip with the Almanara team. Fabulous place and hope to return with my family again.
