  This place was magnificent, so much so that if I could give it a 6 star, I would. We had a warm welcome by the staff who provided an excellent service throughout our entire stay. The breakfast and dinner were both equally delicious. Needless to stay, we had a very hard time to leave this little slice of paradise along the Indian Ocean. We would like to give all of the staff that worked there during our stay a big thank you for their outstanding hospitality, and hope to come back again in the future. The photo’s do not do this place justice.

  We have travelled a lot in Diani, and I must say this is one of the best hotels I have ever stayed in. If you want to relax and enjoy exceptional service, this is the place! The food was amazing—the mix of different cuisines, not only international but also Kenyan (Swahili) dishes, was exceptional. A special mention to the chef, Mr. Mure: very friendly, welcoming, and truly a master of the grill. Thank you! The staff were incredibly kind, always ready to help and make your stay comfortable. Breakfast was fantastic as well. We also tried our first tennis session and the game of Boccia. Mzee Hamisi trained us patiently and with so much fun. We loved it and are definitely planning to continue playing tennis to practice what we learned. The hotel grounds feel like a small adventure—you get to see all kinds of plants, trees, and animals. We saw a burukenge (what’s the English word?), hedgehogs, different geckos/lizards, monkeys, barracudas, and baboons (who were never distracting or aggressive). The rooms were clean, and the beach area is incredible. Overall, we are very happy and will definitely come back. To the Team Head, Abdulsamad—thank you for your kindness and for taking the time to personally connect with guests and check in on them. Very professional. Asante sana! Ocean Village, we will be back.

  I recently stayed at Ocean Village Hotel in Diani Beach, and it exceeded my expectations. The staff's friendliness and helpfulness made us feel welcome from the start. A highlight was the sports activities by Hamisi, especially boccia and tennis. The hotel also offers a great selection of board games, books, and table tennis. The location is perfect—peaceful and right on the beautiful white sandy beach, ideal for relaxation. The spa and evening entertainment, including live bands and a snake show, added to the experience. Everything was to our complete satisfaction, and we look forward to our next visit. Highly recommended!

  ​I spent 5 days here following my stay at Diamonds Leisure. The hotel itself is beautiful and exceptionally quiet, nestled in a landscape full of lush greenery. It’s a very peaceful place to unwind. ​The rooms were perfectly clean, and the staff were absolutely lovely—always helpful and kind. ​However, the main downside was the food. It wasn’t great, whether ordering from the à la carte menu or eating at the buffet. On top of that, the restaurant lacked atmosphere, making dinner feel a bit dull. ​Great for the setting and the service, but the catering needs improvement.

  This is an excellent resort. The staff is amazing—kind, friendly and very helpful. The rooms are beautiful, clean and spacious with an elevated safari vibe. The design of the resort is reminiscent of Santorini or perhaps a Middle Eastern town. Very tasteful, yet giving the feeling of adventure. The grounds are lush and enlivening. Tropical plants, grass, and giant palm trees are perfectly planted to create a gorgeous oasis in the center of the buildings. The private portion of the beach is peaceful and the perfect place to watch the ocean or lay in the sun. The wide expanse of the beach going to the shore is just as pleasant, although not a lot of people were lying out there. It was more for walks or taking a dip in the ocean, very accessibly, with few other people giving a secluded experience. Room service was very good, as well as the breakfast. I never had the dinner, but I can imagine that it was good as well. I truly enjoyed my four nights there and want to go back for an extended stay.
