  Went to campsite Nice place. However the breakfast is very very poor. Pastries, bacon, cereal and bread were stale.. eggs were great as they were freshly made. The juices were not what they mentioned. They writting said watermelon. It was watermelon and beetroot. The info sheets of the food were 50% wrong. It said spring rolls and had samosa, it said eggs and had boiled eggs etc. location is good. Campsite was good. Duncan was great.

  This is a very scenic property alongside a river. Well maintained. The rooms are spacious with good facility. Food is good and staff are very courteous. Lawn outside the restaurant is an excellent place to spend your leisure time in nature.

  I recently took my family to Naro Moru River Lodge, and the whole experience was unforgettable. My parents obviously fell in love with the serene, peaceful environment, while my brothers were living their best lives with all the activities available. We even did a day hike on the mountain with David, the guide (such a patient man) and spent the rest of our stay trying out everything the lodge had to offer. The mountain trail biking was a major highlight for all of us. The service was Impeccable. The tranquility; absolutely unreal! Everyone we interacted with made our stay special; from Susan, the General Manager, who was amazing from the moment we made our reservation, to Faith and Cynthia at the reception, and Alphonse, James, Rosemary, Patrick at the restaurant. Even Maina at the pool made sure we were well taken care of. It was such a wholesome, memorable experience. We are nature lovers and such well maintained/ prioritized environments are hard to come by. I’d recommend Naro Moru River Lodge in a heartbeat.

  We had a truly wonderful stay at Naro Moru River Lodge. The place is absolutely stunning, with beautiful grounds and a really peaceful atmosphere. We stayed for a week with a large group, and the staff couldn’t have been kinder or more attentive. Everyone made us feel so welcome, and a special shout-out goes to James, who consistently went above and beyond to make sure we had everything we needed. Highly recommend!

  The Lodge is set in a super serene environment, surrounded by lush greenery and the soothing sounds of the flowing river - truly an excellent countryside escape. The food was excellent and delicious, and the staff were wonderful — consistently helpful, kind, and prompt, making the stay feel very warm and welcoming. The rooms were okay but quite dated. The bathrooms could use some sprucing up, and a few minor issues like burnt-out lights and non-functioning switches took away from the otherwise peaceful experience. Modern showers are badly needed though! One disappointment was that the pool was under renovation, which wasn’t mentioned at the time of booking. We had to visit another facility to enjoy a swim. The squash, tennis, and basketball courts are great in theory, but they seem poorly maintained and not entirely safe for use. Overall, we were satisfied with the stay - the setting, food, and service really stood out. However, the property would truly shine again with some upgrades and fresh energy to bring it back to its full charm.
