Trout tree restaurant combines scenic nature immersion with fresh locally farmed trout cuisine and a laid back outdoor dining environment, I would highly recommend it for travellers heading to or from Nanyuki. Don't believe me? Here are a few snap shots I took of the place Shout out to Njoroge one of the staff who gave us a mini tour around the ponds and educated us on trout fish farming

Great experience. They were missing some trout so we couldn’t order it but we tried other dishes. For the area, it’s a 5 star. Compared to some places in the States, 4/4.5 star. I would recommend this place. They have large vats/pools to raise their own trout. I had the fish and a milkshake. I like milkshakes but in Kenya, it’s very average (3/3.5 star). Overall, nice place to grab a bite. Cool area to walk around with the kids. Enjoy. 5 star.

Delicious food and nice, friendly staff. The place is amazing. Situated on the tree with the view full of nature, trees, bushes and fish pounds. The restaurant is perfect for children: birds and monkeys are flying/jumping around, you can meet a chameleon too and even feed the fish! There's also a small playground.
