  The best mountain 🏔️ to visit in Africa and being the second highest mountain in Africa that’s stunning .Mount Kenya The mountain features several key peaks, including Batian (5,199m), Nelion (5,188m), and Point Lenana (4,985m), which offer thrilling experiences for hikers and climbers. Around the mountain, pristine alpine lakes such as Lake Ellis, Lake Michaelson, and Lake Alice provide serene and scenic spots for adventurers. These lakes are not just beautiful; they are also home to a variety of fish species. Rainbow trout, introduced during the colonial era, are the most common fish found in the lakes, offering an additional attraction for fishing enthusiasts. Mount Kenya is a must-visit destination, blending striking peaks, tranquil lakes, and diverse wildlife to create an unforgettable outdoor experience.

  Mt. Kenya Forest is a true gem. It's packed with all sorts of plants and animals. Plus, the views of the hills are simply stunning. A great spot for nature lovers or anyone looking for a peaceful escape.

  Beautiful mountain with a sacred history in both Kikuyu and Maasai folklore. Varied landscape (high jungle, grassland, rocky lunar) and wildlife. Ask where the elephants are on their circular migration around the base. Camping permitted anywhere within. Assistance of a guide (even for day hike), highly suggested. A real treat in Africa.

  Beautiful place, remarkable landscapes..wonderful warden ....we even saw a leopard. Allot could be done to improve the road...to get to the gate should not be a grueling encounter...any Kenya. Should be able to get to the gate...access is a revenue hindrance Toilets can be greatly improved ...as the calibre and expectations of local and foreign tourists increase, please do something about upgrading the sanitation block.
