  I had a delightful one-night stay at Matira Bush Camp in Maasai Mara. The camp's setting, nestled in the heart of the wilderness, offered an authentic and intimate safari experience. The tents were comfortable and well-maintained, providing just the right balance of rustic charm and modern convenience. The staff were welcoming and attentive, making me feel right at home. Being surrounded by the sounds of nature and close to wildlife was a thrilling highlight. Overall, Matira Bush Camp is a fantastic choice for anyone seeking a genuine bush experience in Maasai Mara.

  Matira was our base within Safari in Masai Mara. I can only give very high recommendations for this place, as it is very close to nature, intimate and all staff makes you really feel like home. This is the place to be, beats larger "resort-type" camps 6-0. Location is excellent, so you will not waste time on moving to the center parts of Masai Mara and Masa Triangle as well. All the animals and scenery, rivers are basically there as soon as you leave the camp. During the night you can sleep with hippos and lions roaring around. Special thanks on the food and service - nothing was too much for the staff of Matira to arrange - they made our anniversary very memorable! Last but not least to mention our dedicated waiter Sylvester remains in our thoughts with his professional, warm and polite but super-friendly appearance. Edit 10/24: Second time here. Still highly recommended, small family/safari- camp feeling in the bushes, close to game viewing areas and Mara plus Talek rivers. We were almost only customers during our stay so it was extra peaceful. They had renovated some of the tents and dining-reception area, which was nice.

  It is situated within Masaimara national park and that's a great advantage for everyday safari. There are total 19 tents for guests having capacity.of single tourist to four in one tent. One can listen roaring of Lion and hawling of Hyena at night from tent. Night guards are there throughout the place. Here wifi is available near reception only. Food served here are testy and healthy too. They serve fish chicken pork ham everything. Staffs are very sobber and of helping nature.

  Had a great experience with Matira! We book through natural tour Kenya. They highly recommend me this camp which is in my budget. They say it has a good location which is true. Room view is amazing, everything is so neat and clean(William did a great job), food is simple but tasty, staff here are offering high standard service. ( Kevin, Jackson, Philip... so many good staff) Worth the single penny of ur money. And the price is very reasonable and affordable. Everything is simple but well managed, you can fell it. I have to say Matira complete our amazing journey in Maasai Mara.
