A magical spot within the Masai Mara✨ I truly reccomend this Camp as it’s right in the middle of the reserve which makes it very convenient to do all game drives. Thanks to our driver Nilaan we managed to see many animals during our 2 days in all our game drives. At the camp the service is excellent, the food delicious, the bed very comfy and their good attention to detail makes it a 10/10 experience.

We had a great 3 night stay at Tors Camp. 3rd time in the Mara and Tors did not disappoint. Whilst the camp and tents were first class , it still managed to feel like you were truly in the wilds. Staff team were exceptional and couldn’t have gone further to make our stay a memorable one. Our guide Daniel (provided by Tors) was the best we’ve had - great knowledge, fabulous spotting skills, a great driver and full of interesting chat. Food was fabulous home-style cooking and the kitchen prepared great picnic breakfasts and lunches where required and portions were plentiful ( we fatally managed to finish everything). Hippos pass through the camp and elephant and zebra seen from the dining area. Much other wildlife seen within a few minutes drive. If you want the comfort of a luxury camp but the feel of being deep in the bush, whilst getting first class service all round then Tors is the place.

The best experience of my life. We stayed two nights. We were able to see the Big Five (rhinoceros, lion, leopard, buffalo, and elephant) plus cheetah, plus the Great Migration, on two separate outings, which is incredibly rare. Our guide was Ben, an absolute gem. The lodge is located inside the reserve, allowing you to enjoy the entire day, starting with a safari first thing in the morning. The food is spectacular. There's a chef in charge of all the meals. The cabins are comfortable, safe, and well-designed. We never felt uncomfortable. This is also thanks to Cameron, the owner, who lives at the lodge and is always available. Everyone there is amazing (especially Collin, who, in addition to being excellent and always there for us, is an incredible bartender—I highly recommend trying his Dawa). We will definitely return to the Maasai Mara and especially to Tors Camp.

I stayed at Tor's Camp for two nights on July 14-15, 2026. Before choosing this camp, I communicated with Tor's Camp several times via email, and they responded to all my questions meticulously, patiently, and quickly. Tor's Camp is nestled in a riverside forest, small and exquisite, full of wild charm. A large herd of hippos lives in the nearby river, and their roars are your morning call. The tents at the camp were clean and tidy, and the bedding rivaled that of a five-star hotel. The shower water was incredibly hot, and there was plenty of it. Because of the low nighttime temperatures, they even provided hot water bottles to warm the bedding. The camp arranged a forest dinner for us, which was very thoughtfully prepared. The meticulous setup before the meal, combined with the forest atmosphere, made for a truly enjoyable dining experience. Thank you to Tor's Camp for their hospitality; I would recommend it to anyone. Tors Camp was the highlight of our trip to Kenya. The location inside the Masai Mara is stunning, and the camp offers a perfect balance of comfort and authenticity. It really feels like you are nestled amongst the wildlife. The owners and staff were incredibly warm and welcoming, with outstanding local Masai guides who made our safari experience unforgettable thanks to their deep knowledge of wildlife and where to find it. We saw an incredible variety of animals and always felt well looked after. Special shout out to Collins who shared so much information about local wildlife and culture with us. The tents are spacious and very comfortable with thoughtful touches throughout, and the food was excellent, especially the bush breakfasts and sundowners which we had in stunning locations in the park. We also really appreciated the personal touches, including a birthday surprise with Maasai songs, which made our stay extra special. We couldn’t recommend Tors Camp more highly for an authentic and memorable safari experience.

A truly magical place to stay. Nestled in a little forrst area right on a river streams edge. Nature at its best. The tents, are very clean and comfortable and the views will bring you instant tranquility. How I already miss the magical nights there, with all the natural sounds and fresh air. I also like to mention the amazing staff and managment of Tor ́s Camp. From the moment I arrived, it felt like home. All the crew were wonderful and very caring. Thank you very very much. Last but not least, the culinary experience I made during my stay there, was by far, the best out of all my trip. Just delicious and very creative. Not recommended for people on a very strict diet ;). Many thanks to you all, for my very memorable stay. I loved it from the very beginning to the end.

My experience going on safari and staying at Tor's Camp was an all time life highlight. The camp itself is gorgeous, both in decor and location. Tor's is tucked between two rivers (each full of hippos!) and the main camp area faces out onto the Mara, meaning that you may see a group of elephants or giraffe wander by as you enjoy your lunch or sip a gin and tonic. The tents are very well-appointed, and feel completely safe while also truly immersed in the wild. Most notably, the staff at Tor's are the most kind and helpful folks I've ever encountered in any service environment (shoutout Frank!!). Our safari guide was named Nilan, a young Maasai guy who grew up very near the camp. He knew the area and ecosystem and animals on a deeply intuitive level, and was so fun to talk to and ask a million questions about animal behavior, dynamics between species, etc. My friends and I loved Nilan, loved the Tor's staff, and absolutely treasured our experience. Book Tor's and you will be so so happy you did!!

Tor’s Camp exceeded every expectation we had. The camp is beautiful, peaceful, and feels completely immersed in the wild while still being incredibly comfortable and safe. The staff provided some of the best hospitality we’ve ever experienced. Everyone was warm, attentive, and seemed to anticipate our needs before we even had to ask. Our tent was immaculate, the beds were extremely comfortable, and falling asleep each night to the sounds of hippos and monkeys was unforgettable. From organizing our flights from Nairobi to every detail of our stay, everything was handled flawlessly. Tor’s Camp struck the perfect balance between luxury, adventure, and genuine hospitality. We left feeling like family and cannot wait to return.
