  The host is coming for more money all the time. We agreed a price (5000 kesh / night), the day before we left she gives notices that she made a mistake and we should pay 8000 kesh/night. Too expensive for the service and basic tent. We did not get clean towels or bedding nor cleaning

  Overall not worth it. If you visit Kenya for the first time, avoid this place or your ultimate dream will be ruined. Overbooking, late drivers, problems about money, problematic vehicles. Don't get lured by lower price from other places. Find a better one.

  It was a wonderful place to be great food, excellent service, and a fantastic manager named Alphine. On our first day, it seemed there was an overbooking issue, but with Alphine’s help, everything was handled smoothly. He is a very polite and understanding person who solves problems quickly and efficiently. Honestly, he deserves more recognition than he already has. We were a group of 19, and every single one of us was impressed and happy with Alphine’s helpfulness and professionalism. Highly recommended!

  We stayed in this resort for 2 days as our originally booked resort of Oseki Mara was wrongly overlooked to other tourists. The resort is very good within the forest. At night it feels eerie with many animals sounding around near and far. But the place is constantly guarded by Masai throughout the whole night. Even we were escorted to the dining room and brought back to the rooms daily at night during dinner time. Animal visit like hyena etc are regular at night. But they are well taken care of by the Masai guards. The rooms are basic but electricity is 24x7 unlike similar resort rooms in nearby hotels where power is cut off at night. Moreover, supply of cold and hot water was also 24x7. Overall enjoyed the stay here. Recommended for thrilling experience.

  We had a large group (23 people) and were told we would have doubles. When we arrived, however, they said they were full and several of us would have to triple-up. Our tent (“Zebra”) was very disappointing. The zipper on our tent broke the first evening. They were responsive and tried to fix it but ended up having to rig a temporary fix, and replaced the zipper the next day. We didn’t have any trash cans or a mirror, and no mosquito nets. The day of our game drive we were told breakfast would start at 5am. We ended up waiting 15 minutes- in fact when we arrived around 5:10 there was no staff present. Every lunch and dinner, they would run out of food so if you didn’t get there right away, you’d be stuck waiting for food. I know this is not supposed to be luxurious glamping, but they could have done much better with the basics.
