  Emboo River Camp is a hidden gem that feels like home in the heart of the jungle. Surrounded by the untouched beauty of the Masai Mara, the camp offers a serene escape where giraffes gracefully pass by, hippos splash in the river, elephants roam nearby, and crocodiles bask along the banks. Despite being immersed in the wild, we felt completely safe and at peace throughout our stay. What truly sets Emboo apart is its world-class hospitality. Manager Pablo and his exceptional team — Edwin, Rhonda, Brenda, Nelson and Priscilla — welcomed us with warmth and made us feel genuinely cared for every step of the way. Their attention to detail and heartfelt service created an unforgettable experience. The highlight of our stay was my son’s birthday celebration, beautifully organized right in the middle of the jungle. From the cake to the amenities, it was a magical moment that we’ll cherish forever. It was the perfect personal touch—an experience that turned a great trip into an extraordinary one. Emboo River Camp isn’t just a safari destination; it’s a place where memories are made.

  Spent here 3 nights, with 3 kids. Thry put together 2 tents for our convenience. Amazing view to a river with all types of animals. Staff was so impressive, the waiters are so kind and you get escorted to your room every right. If you dont like camping like me, these luxury tents will suit you perfectly. Food was spectacular and they made sure it was customaized to your liking, extremely helpful for my 3 kids. They wash your clothing daily as well. This is paradise, so exciting to come back, we were literally praying for the flight to get canceled so we could stay at least one more night .

  From the very first moment, we were warmly welcomed by Valery and her amazing team. We stayed in a beautifully designed, cozy room (everything inside was chosen with care and filled with comfort) The atmosphere at Emboo is magical: peaceful nature, evenings around the fire on soft poufs under the stars, delicious meals, and a deep connection to the nature. We would especially like to thank: Felix, our safari guide — calm, deeply experienced, and one of the best in his field. He made every game drive feel personal and insightful. Tobin, the photographer, full of passion and soul. Every photo he took captured something deeper than just an image. Rhoda, who looked after us during every breakfast, lunch, and dinner with incredible kindness and attention. And Pedro, who always brought a smile, kindness, and genuine care. he made us feel truly welcomed. The little things made, like hot water bottles waiting in our room at night and even placed in the safari jeep for those chilly early drives. These thoughtful touches left a lasting impression. The entire team at Emboo is united by true hospitality, care for nature, and love for what they do. We’re already home, but our hearts are still with you at Emboo. Wishing the camp and its creators continued joy and prosperity

  This is our fifth time here, and it just keeps getting better and better! - The brand-new, beautiful tents are now built on stilts. - They’re so spacious—we could easily stay here with the entire family. - The new camp manager is amazing: always discreetly present and double-checking every detail. - There’s a new pool with a real sundeck offering a stunning view of the river. - The “restaurant” feels like a cozy living room, complete with a special fireplace where I easily dozed off. - Our kids loved the safari bingo, games and creating masai neckless so much !!! - The food is incredibly fresh, with vegetables straight from their own garden. The lovely chef even came to check on us twice a day! - Our driver-guide Sylvester was waiting for us—and still remembered where we spotted the leopard five years ago. Another unforgettable day! - The 100% off-the-grid concept remains so special. No car engine noise during the safari—just perfect. - This camp was flooded exactly one year ago, and to see it come back even better is truly inspiring. Well done, everyone! I recommend Emboo River Camp to the whole world.

  We stayed at Emboo for a family reunion, and it truly exceeded our expectations. Having lived in Kenya for a long time and experienced many different camps, we can confidently say that Emboo is something special. As a fully sustainable camp, Emboo offers a unique experience—but what impressed us most was that it never compromised on luxury. The team’s attention to detail was unmatched, ensuring that every moment felt thoughtful and personal. A huge shoutout to Daniel, our guide, whose skill and warmth made our game drives unforgettable. From surprise activities to pizza in the bush and engaging experiences for our young children, the team went above and beyond to make us feel special. We cannot wait to return!
