You can make a firecamp and spot monkeys, squirrels, impalas. Rooms are very basic and hot water is unreliable — camp instead.

    A great place for camping. We stayed 3 nights, enjoyed the perfect view on Kilimanjaro and the quiet in the night. Many birds around and you can do a walking tour into the conservancy. Food is good price-quality ratio, semi local.

    1500 KES pppn to sleep in our rooftop tent. Nicely run campsite 15min from Amboseli's Kimana Gate. Goeageous views of Kilimanjaro, lot of space to park and make a fire. Fenced, clean with warm showers and clean bathrooms. It has a restaurant but we were happy to eat our own food and watch the stars. One of the best campsite of our trip, highly recommend!

    We we're brought to this camp by our tour agency without having being consulted (we previously agreed on another camp), so we didnt chose the camp by ourself. The staff was friendly and the location nice, close to the park (you can spot some monkeys, squirels, impalas, bjrd). You could also make firecamp at night and sometimes enjoy mount Kilimanjaro view. However the facility was in a bad status, by far the worst we had in kenya. The room didnt really protect from mosquito or cold night, hot water was not reliable and you could not avoid to flood the entire bathroom at each shower. No wifi at all. The food selection and quality was poor. Moreover, after 12 of travel of perfect health in Kenya I got sick in this camp probably because of the packed lunch (consisting in a sandwich with slices of tomatoes/cucumber and 2 boiled egs). I was not the only one in the camp to got sick. The park is amazing, but better look for other facilities to sleep.

    Nice place to camp, if you have all your camping essentials. There are ‘tented rooms’ on site for 2K per bed but not all of them had running water, so ensure to check this prior to lodging. In the common areas there’s water and hot showers, which was good.
