  You cannot come closer to nature than this place. Even you can perfectly have your Bucket shower and very good service! I wood say to everybody if you want enjoy Safari / game drive THIS IS THE PLACE TO BE !!! We loved it Here, thank you Bernard , Lotus and Willy and whole team!!   We visited Elephant Watch Camp in July, and what an amazing stay it was! The game drives were the highlight, and our guide, Willy, was simply outstanding. We had extraordinary close encounters with elephants — even mothers with their adorable babies carried on calmly as if we weren’t there. It’s no wonder we got a few envious looks from other guests who wished they could have the same experience! The guides at Elephant Watch know the elephant families personally, and spending a day out with them is phenomenal. The knowledge they share left me with a much deeper, more immersive connection to this extraordinary place. One evening, we hiked to a sundowner spot. I’ll admit, being totally unfit, it was a bit of an uphill task! But Saba and two wonderful young Samburu kept me company, encouraged me the whole way. Reaching the top was worth it — the sky was alive with constellations, and the view was unforgettable. The staff were genuinely warm, the accommodation flawless, and the food delicious. If you’re looking for an experience that’s truly different — one where every game drive and bush walk becomes a living story of the Samburu wilderness — Elephant Watch Camp is the place to be. The memories will stay with you long after you leave. 💛

  Wow, hand down this is the best safari camp in Samburu. It’s the most eco friendly, the guides are experts and all the other guides ask them where to go to see animals. The food is incredible. If you want a super authentic experience in luxury, choose this camp. You won’t regret it

  Everyone should put Elephant Watch on their bucket list. We saw elephants everywhere, doing everything imaginable. The setting was lovely, the food was great and our guides were top notch (guides, not drivers). We were lucky enough to spend time with Saba, her lovely sister and husband Frank and could not have been made to feel more welcome. Next time we will try to stay longer and perhaps hike Ololokwe.

  My first visit to Samburu and a great place to spend my nights in. Elephant Watch is an ecological camp with great staff, great service and great home-made food. No air-conditioning required as the tents are airy and tastefully furnished. The elephants roam freely and in the morning my wake-up call was an elephant by the tent... A beautiful sight to behold! The workers always ask for when you want to take a bath as the warm the water is boiled and put it in the uniquely created shower. Water to brush your teeth is also in a special bottle. No water wastage as all is measured well. It's a great feeling that you're playing your part in conservation. This is a great authentic place and you enjoy nature and the peace around. Do carry warm clothing as it gets very windy in the morning and evening!
