  Wow! What a an amazing experience! Being here exceeded my expectations and it was truly a wonderful time. Thank you to the entire team for making our stay so comfortable and working eight my special dietary requirements. A special thanks to Elizabeth, Gabriel and Josphat. The room attendants for making sure our rooms are clean and bug free! The Askaris from keep us safe during the day and night. I would highly recommend this lodge and would come again!

  Unique, Eco friendly, brilliant experiences here. Encountering nature within the campground, to the expert safari adventures. Comfort, convenience and elegance of the accommodation. They are committed to being Eco friendly, and very active in the whole park community, with the environmental and ecological impacts, and the drivers of improvement on many projects and programs. Staff is very knowledge and helpful. Many reasons we keep coming back here,

  Save yourself the headache!! We booked Elephant Bedroom Camp for two nights at 92,000 and paid a 60,000 deposit, expecting a beautiful stay for a special anniversary. Unfortunately, what we found when we checked in did not meet even the bare minimum of our expectations, no buffet, dusty premises, colored plunge pool, let’s not even talk about the bathroom 😖 When we raised our concerns and asked for a refund so we could move elsewhere, we were met with the usual line: “the company has structures and policies.” I genuinely wonder, what policy covers guests being completely dissatisfied? What policy excuses a place from taking accountability when the experience delivered does not reflect what was marketed? Customer service was at its lowest from Susan. At that price point, the least we expected was understanding and support. Instead, we were dismissed. It also makes sense why their reviews look the way they do, one from 3 weeks ago, another a month ago, then 3 months, 8 months... the gaps speak for themselves. And in what they call “peak season,” there were only seven guests. Yet they insist they “held other bookings for us” and therefore cannot refund a single cent. Seven people... peak season... does that add up? I would not recommend this place to anyone, especially if you are planning something special. Save yourself the stress. Our anniversary turned into a headache, and no one deserves that. Never going back, never recommending!!

  Our stay at Elephant Bedroom Camp was nothing short of extraordinary. From the moment we arrived, we were completely immersed in the magic of Samburu — elephants wandering past our tent, the sound of the river nearby, and sunsets that took our breath away. In just four days, we saw an astonishing variety of wildlife and recorded 102 bird species! Each game drive brought new wonder — lions, leopards, elephants, and the unique Samburu “Special Five.” Our guide, James, was exceptional: deeply knowledgeable, patient, and passionate about sharing his love for the land. His keen eye and quiet expertise turned every drive into an adventure and every sighting into a story. The camp itself strikes that rare balance between authentic bush charm and quiet luxury. The tents are spacious and beautifully appointed, the food outstanding, and the team so genuinely warm. Every meal, every smile, every little detail made us feel at home — in the heart of the wild. We left Elephant Bedroom with full hearts, incredible memories, and a camera roll bursting with beauty. This place is truly unforgettable — a rare gem where nature, comfort, and connection come together perfectly. Thank you to Benard, james and the entire EB team for making our stay so special.   Elephant Bedroom Camp was by far one of our most memorable destinations! It’s the kind of place you almost want to give a bad rating to so that you can be sure there will be vacancy next time you book!! If we didn’t live so far away we would have asked if we could build our own tent on their grounds and go every weekend! It’s not big and crowded with too many guests, which is what we loved! The tents are ultra clean and beautifully appointed, each with their own dipping pool and a good enough distance between them for “Obama” the neighborhood elephant to pass through for a visit! Loads of beautiful birds and interesting nature sounds embrace the compound along with their “lodge” impala who likes to accompany you with the groundskeeper to and from your room sometimes! The food, the service and ALL the staff were top notch! Courteous, happy people with the unique goal of making your stay the best they can possibly make it! What is also great is that you don’t have to wait in line every morning in your truck to buy tickets to enter the reserve, like they do in other areas. Also, their trucks are open on the sides which is WAY more comfortable than many other trucks we’ve encountered where people were standing up to look out through a roof opening! Alex “the great”, who was our guide and game driver, secured that title because he was exactly that: GREAT!! Extremely knowledgeable, there wasn’t one question he could not answer! He was loads of fun and made us discover Samburu and all of its beauty (from its wildlife to its people) in ways no book or internet link will ever do! And another thing: before going to the Elephant Bedroom Camp, we compared dozens of lodges in Samburu in terms of location, accommodations, prices, food, activities, wifi availability, distance to airport, access to medical, and that was the one that came out winning. So save yourself the trouble and just GO!
