  Impossible to accept it's in Samburu,it's build along river Ewaso where palm vegetation makes it cool and best scenery view of animals while inside your room.Its also very close to natural swimming pool making it easy enjoying your lunch there after swimming.

  We stayed at Ashnil and I think this was my favourite hotel. We had two rooms overlooking the river. On arrival a large bull elephant and a companion were eating from the trees right outside our rooms. We had a beautiful table for eating with such a sweet waitress. Food was served rather than buffet style and so much choice. All incredible. Also a shout out to Kennedy who was the security guy and just so sweet. On our first night they kept the pool open longer so kids could swim after a game drive. The staff were all above and beyond and the rooms were utterly stunning. It was like a dream. Our one year old fell in love with the monkeys. The scenery was stunning on the game drives. Really unusual compared to other locations and we saw all the special 5. We also saw cheetahs both days - including with cubs. The elephants were stunning and such a huge herd with so many babies.

  Excellent location and the food was delectable. Coffee was nice. Room is clean and tidy, the view out of the restaurant was fabulous. Staffs are very helpful. One of our friends has got her sleeper broken and the staff stitched the sleeper for her. We had an amazing experience during our stay.

  Beautiful, clean and quite modern tents. Delicious food, very attentive staff and breathtaking river views. I especially recommend getting a massage with Rachel - she is amazing and really knows what she is doing.

  Wonderful place! We had a lovely stay. It was so calm and relaxing, surrounded by nature. I liked the tents with a lot of space and private sitting area. You can even see animals through the fence if you are lucky! We saw an elephant and a giraffe. Inside of the Lodge you can see monkeys and some owls. We picked Ashnil to celebrate our anniversary and they brought live music on our first night and a lovely decorated plate. Very thoughtful detail. Also, the food was very nice. Breakfast, lunch and dinner with plenty of options including vegetarian options. If you have food allergies better check in advance though. I had the best massage ever with Rachel. She literally made all the tension of my body disappear. I was going for a 30 min massage initially but extended for a full hour because it was so so so good (€33) We had our own rental jeep but hired a game drive from the Lodge for early morning hours. Much better experience than trying to do it ourselves and the price was super affordable so ask the lodge in advance and enjoy the experience ($30 USD pp). We saw cheetahs hunting and lions eating! A once in a lifetime moment. Hussein was our super experienced driver. The staff was amazing and the highlight of our stay. All of them were super nice: the lady at the reception, Abdi our room attendant, Marundu from the bar (not sure if I spelled the name right, but this man was a lot of fun and his vibe was amazing! He made us enjoy our afternoon beers even more!) Elvis from the restaurant, Roba from security, Hussain the safari driver, and every single employee at the hotel! I wish I had written all the names down to write a special thank you to each one of them because they all made our stay very pleasant and enjoyable. Always nice to us and super helpful.
