  Took the family out for Sunday lunch and a swim, but the experience was disappointing. We were asked to scan the menu, only to find that most of what we wanted to order wasn’t available. We were even told potatoes could only be served as chips. To top it off, the waiter actively un-recommended one item — the crispy drumstick. Our drinks took almost forty minutes to arrive, and in the end we left without eating. They can definitely do better.

  Took a pre-Christmas mother & daughter holiday there and had a wonderful time. It's kids friendly and their food is delicious. The Deluxe rooms are absolutely beautiful.

  We chose Small World Country Club in Athi River for a staycation to celebrate my wife’s birthday. We booked quite late after visiting several hotels around Athi River but were lucky to secure the last executive room. What we liked: Beautiful scenery with trees, flowers, and a coastal theme—perfect for memorable photos. An amazing live band on Friday from 5–8pm. The swimming pool and surrounding sitting area are ideal for sunrise moments and afternoon drinks. Executive rooms are clean, comfortable, and classy. The meals were excellent. Very fair pricing compared to other hotels we visited, many of which were more expensive but offered much less. Friendly, polite, and very welcoming staff—thank you for that. A nice fireplace, though we were too tired to enjoy it that night. Areas to improve: The internet in the room was not working that night, and since the TVs only have YouTube, this meant no TV access. More games and activities for kids would be a great addition. Below are some photos and a video we took.

  One of the best sundowners places I've visited in 2025. Not far from Nairobi. I really liked the setup, it's like a little garden of Eden. Speaking of gardens , I liked the various flower gardens , gives you peace and tranquility especially after a long day or week Visit at sunset hours on much quieter weekdays to truly appreciate the beauty of this 'small world ' 🙂

  Had lunch here and honestly everything was amazing. The views were beautiful and gave such a nice, relaxing vibe. The ambience was cozy and welcoming. The food was super tasty and well-presented, and the waiters were so kind and attentive. Service was quick, and everyone had a smile on their face. I really enjoyed the whole experience and would definitely come back again. Highly recommend✨
