  Great place to pass the time between flights in and out of Nairobi. 5 min taxi from the airport. Can recommend the African fusion restaurant on the 5th floor - nice food, good bar and a refreshing breeze. Can hang out by the pool after eating. It is so tranquil you forget that you’re right by the airport. Perpetual Blessing (hostess) was very kind (and pretty)

  Excellent place to stay - whether it is for a quick stop near the airport, or a bit longer to see the sites. The staff is kind and superb, the rooms are impeccable, and the rooftop restaurant is delicious. They made me feel like a VIP from airport pickup through checkout!

  The hotel was exactly what we needed and hoped for after such a long trip from the States while awaiting our flight the next day to the Naboisho Conservancy. The staff were very pleasant and helpful; the breakfast buffet with coffee was excellent. And the rooms were clean and comfortable. What more can you ask for?

  Extremely Disappointing – Serious Cleanliness Issues We were checked into our room late in the evening. While the decor is outdated and clearly stuck in the 1970s, that in itself is not the reason for this review. Upon entering the room, we immediately noticed that the bedding was still damp, and the bathroom had clearly not been cleaned. There were stains on the bathroom floor, the toilet was dirty, and most shockingly, there was a visible drop of blood on the toilet seat. We contacted reception straight away and requested to move rooms. To be fair, the staff were the only positive aspect of this experience. They were polite, professional, and did their best to help within the limits of what they had to work with — unfortunately, the standard of the hotel itself made this an impossible task. We were shown a second room, which proved no better. The bathroom floor was again dirty, with marks on the tiles and visible dust in the corners — areas that were evidently ignored because they are inconvenient to reach. The bedding was even worse this time: the sheets were threadbare, and the pillowcases had holes worn into the corners. The staff member accompanying us could clearly see that this room was also unacceptable. As a final attempt, we were shown a suite, where one would reasonably expect higher standards. - Sadly, it was just as bad as the previous rooms. The bathroom was filthy — grime visibly collected around the drain, with marks on the taps, toilet, and flush button. The room itself had an old, dirty rug and stained upholstery throughout. As this is an airport hotel and we checked in very late, moving to another hotel was not a practical option. We normally stay at a nearby hotel, which was unfortunately fully booked this time. The irony is that this alternative has a higher star rating, maintains excellent standards, and is even more affordable. I ended up staying awake all night, as I did not feel comfortable lying in the bed at all. In hindsight, spending those hours at the airport would have been a better option. I cannot recommend this hotel under any circumstances and strongly urge management to address the cleanliness issues immediately. The conditions we encountered were, in every sense of the word, repulsive. The images included are solely of the last room, since we did not stay long enough in the other two, and they do not fully convey how unacceptable the conditions truly were.

  The hotel’s proximity to the international airport is convenient. They offer complimentary shuttle service. I was warmly welcomed at check-in. Daniel Migwi, concierge, gave me a quick overview of the property before escorting me to my room. WiFi is complementary and excellent. My room had a kingsize bed, soundproof windows, spacious work desk, minibar and coffee and tea station, in-room safe, tv, iron board and iron. The bathroom with shower was impeccable clean. Robe and slippers were provided. Breakfast was buffet style with plenty of choices. Tried both restaurants - delicious food. Thank you to Lucy for her attentive service. I went to the Lobby bar to relax while drinking a cappuccino. A very special thank you to Catherine Shamsy for her outstanding and highly professional customer service at the front desk. She was extremely helpful. I enjoyed my two nights at this hotel and can recommend it to other travellers.
