    Mara House with its collection of lodges and amazing team was an incredible experience. The setting is wonderful with zebras and baboons walking past you a few feet away as you have breakfast on the veranda. Or head out early for a 6am Safari. Over three days we saw Lions, Elephants, Rhinos, Cheetahs, Giraffes, Hyenas, Jackals, Mongoose, Zebras, baboons and countless other animals thriving in their natural settings. Some of it is nature at its most confronting as our skilled guide tracked us to a live Lion kill as it took down a Zebra. But most importantly the team here are amongst the kindest most genuine people I have experienced in a hospitality setting. Nothing was too much trouble and every meal whether taken in the lodge or eaten out of the back of the jeep while watching hippos was wonderful. A thousand thank yous for the family memories that will last a lifetime!

    Mara Bush Houses was one of 3 camps we stayed in on our Kenyan safari. We stayed for 2 nights, but I wish we stayed for weeks. The house was beautiful, the staff were amazing, the food was fantastic. They catered fantastically for my gluten and peanut fre dietary needs. They went above and beyond for our 9th wedding anniversary. This place was something so special. The location is the only thing letting it down - it's a good 35/40 minutes from the plains. Having said that, the 12 strong herd of elephants, dik dik, zebra and impala that come to drink from the pond in the garden more than makes up for this. I would highly, highly recommend and I would be delighted to return. I just wish we could have stayed for longer.

    Our stay for 3 night was excellent. Our need of special food .. jain and vegetarian was taken care by the chef very well. The hospitality of house members was excellent. We had courteous butler and other staff who were taking care of all our need to make our stay comfortable and with remembering. It has four houses. We stayed in dik dik house. It is one and half bedrooms. But we were two couples . The second bedroom need to be improved.

    If you are visiting the Maasai Maara in Kenya, the Saruni Mara Bush Houses are probably one of the best places to stay in. Huge well appointed bungalows, spacious lawns, a cozy fire place, a swimming pool, et al. And the housekeeping and kitchen staff are simply amazing. Our Safari Guide "Senior" (see first picture) is probably one of the best there is on the Maara. The entire Saruni team is pictured in the second photo.
