  I could write endlessly about my experience at Kempinski Masai Mara. It was an absolute pleasure being here everyone cared for us like family, and anything we needed was available at our fingertips. Let me start with my amazing driver and safari guide, David. He is an absolute sweetheart always smiling and tirelessly spotting the most majestic animals for us. He gave his very best to show us everything the Masai Mara has to offer. Dominic, the camp manager, is a true gentleman. With years of experience, he knows everything about the Masai Mara and is the best person to take advice from. He made sure we received everything we wanted, always on time, and was incredibly quick in arranging anything we requested. Mr. Livingstone was so kind while serving us dinner and drinks, and the chef was excellent he even prepared a customized meal for us at night. All I can say is this: please don’t book local safaris, as they may ruin your experience. Choose luxury, experienced camps that won’t waste your time and will ensure you see everything you should while in the Masai Mara. I give Kempinski Masai Mara a perfect 10/10. I can’t wait to return during the migration season to experience this incredible hospitality and luxury again. Thank you all for making this such a perfect experience for me. Love, Fara

  The absolute best part was my guide/driver Martin! He was tireless in taking me all over the conservancy and spending as much time as I wanted with lions and leopards and elephants and giraffes, etc etc. Plus so friendly and knowledgeable. Sweetest guy and literally made my time there beyond my expectations. As for the camp - it’s lovely. My room was a great permanent tent and the service of the room was excellent. I had everything I needed. The chef was amazing as well along with my waiter, Teddy. Dominick, the manager, was open and inviting and often checked in to ensure I had all I needed. Finally, Linet gave me a perfect massage! Heaven :). I imagine there are one or two camps in this area which might be a bit more upscale, however, I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend Olare Kempinski. Excellent. Thanks to everyone for a fantastic time in the Mara.

  Olare Mara deserves more than 5 stars! It is truly remarkable place that we will keep in our hearts forever. Of course the safari experience itself was breathtaking – the conservancy is a perfect location for wildlife – but what made our stay unforgettable was also the people. From the very first minute, the warmth, professionalism and care of the entire team created a welcoming yet luxurious atmosphere. It always felt personal rather than just a service. The camp area is comfortable, clean and well maintained. Tents keep the safari spirit, but with a sense of luxury. Wildness just right outside makes the experience truly special, making feel connected to the nature without giving up any comfort. A special mention goes to David, our safari guide, whose passion and knowledge made every drive an adventure full of discoveries. Then Eric and Kevin were always taking best care of us, attentive, friendly and ready to have nice discussions. Dominic does a great job as camp manager, always with a smile, making sure everything is perfect and no one misses anything. The food was delicious, and sometimes you will have a nice chance to eat outdoors or by the campfire, just in safari. It’s rare to find such a perfect balance of authenticity, comfort, and service. Thanks to the entire Olare Mara team, this trip will remain one of our most memorable experiences.

  Make sure to get a friendly game driver. When compared to other resort drivers in Olare Mare conservancy camps, our allotted Game driver ERIC was lacking friendliness, lacking social skills & was uptight moody kinds. It’s important to have a friendly driver as during safari you land up spending 80% time in game reserve. Our allotted game driver Eric was non friendly , moody and uptight. When I compared him to other drivers of other camps of Olare Mare Conservatory, he definitely lacked social skills. Unfortunately I felt that on day 1 itself, but regret not speaking to Dominic (property Manager) about it. I repent not getting the driver changed. I was hoping that Eric Guide / Driver will warm up eventually but that didn’t happen. I had taken my parents along and due to his unfriendly nature they wouldn’t ask him questions & rather ask me to ask him as he could snap back. Apart from driver everything was fine, but driver can make or break the experience as you spend 80% time on safari in game drives. So this is an important aspect in game reserve holidays. Apart from that , the entire experience at Kempinski camp was amazing and truly warm .... from the welcome drive with David, Operations Manager Dominic, Restaurant Attendant Eric, Room Attendant Peter, to even the night guards. Every interaction felt genuine and caring, which we deeply appreciated.

  We had such an incredible time at Kempinski! As soon as we got off the plane, David and Lynn were right there to greet us with refreshing drinks, and then we jumped straight into an exciting game drive where we saw so much amazing wildlife. When we arrived at our elegant tent, it was the perfect spot to see lionesses, elephants, and even a leopard up close! Every meal was a delight, and the service from the wonderful staff was top-notch. Dominic, the operations manager, was always around to ensure everything was just perfect. We spent three unforgettable nights filled with wildlife, fantastic game drives with David and Lynn, and our beautiful lodging that Peter kept spotless. The whole resort, beautifully managed by Dominic, truly made our stay one to remember!
