    This was the first trip to Africa for my wife and I. We are enthusiastically recommending the Ngare Serian for a wonderful safari experience. The diversity of wildlife in the Maasai Mara exceeded our expectations, but we were even more impressed with the people. Everyone on the staff was so friendly and engaging. Amy (manager), Joel, Peter, and everyone else on the team knocked it out of the park! The chef prepared gourmet meals each day and we enjoyed socializing with the other guests in the mess tent. Shout out to our expert guides: Henry and Francis. They were great at spotting wildlife and were always respectful to not disturb the animals as we approached for photos. The staff at Ngare Serian had some added surprises, but I don’t want to give them away before you go!

    We had the pleasure of staying at both Alex Walker's Serian "Original" Camp as well as Ngare Serian while on our 17-day trip through Kenya. We absolutely fell in love with the Mara North, the lovely hosts at both camps, Roisin, Adrian, and Fatuma, and our amazingly fun guides, Steve and Mark. It was an experience of a lifetime. Between the animals, food, and service, you feel truly spoiled in the middle of the bush. We even had a chance to stay at their new two story tented home which was incredible. Our guides made each excursion such a great experience. I consider them all close friends now. We are already planning our trip back to Ngare Serian and Alex Walkers Camp in the Mara with friends. Highly recommend!

    Lovely small camp, the huge tents are just meters from the Mara River, it strikes just the right balance between being close to nature & being in perfect comfort.
