  Super comfortable cabins, well-organized (private) game drives and most importantly, amazing hospitality! We were looked after like family. It's all the little things that made our experience so much more memorable. Highly recommended if you're planning a trip to Masai Mara. I'm looking forward to going back! :)

  This is truly a trip of a lifetime ! Ashif, Shelina and the entire staff have your interest, comfort, and safety in mind at all times. Our guide, James knew where all the animals were at various times of the day, was great fun to be with, and made sure we were able to get great photos. Went to the Market, School,andVillage to see the sights and sounds of an entirely different way of life, it was extremely fascinating. ( bring deflated soccer balls and pump to the school if you want to see 400 kids with big smiles). Shelina is a fountain of knowledge and will help you to make the trip happen. Ashif can tell you stories of life in Africa from youth to adulthood that will captivate your imagination. Amani Mara has the best location and all the amenities to make your trip a lifetime memory.

  Amani Mara was one of the highlights of our safari. The atmosphere of the hotel and rooms was so special and truly makes you feel immersed in nature. The service of the staff was also exceptional. The food was great too with 4 course dinners served each night. Being able to view hippos and wildlife during breakfast at sunrise was incredible. I would definitely recommend staying here and would go back.

  We really enjoyed our stay here. The rooms were really really cool. It was such a treat to have a view of the hippos, buffalo, baboons, and more every morning and listening to them chatter at night. It truly felt like the full African safari experience. The staff was lovely and helpful and went above and beyond.

  I just needed to take a minute to write a review about this place. It was the most amazing experience on all levels, and if you are looking to stay in the Maasai Mara, stop looking and just book here. The grounds are beautiful, and you are well taken care of for the entire stay. Yes, there are no fences, which isn’t a problem during the day. At night, Maasai guards will escort you anywhere you need to go on the property. The staff at this hotel are amazing people and incredibly kind. David and William were awesome, taking care of us while we dined. I didn’t catch the names of the other staff members, but every single person was great. I also want to mention that I fell in love with the food. Every meal was a gem. There are options for non-meat eaters, and they blew my mind. The chef and everyone who prepared the food in the kitchen deserve a lot of praise. Everything was perfect, and we are grateful to everyone who made us feel so welcome.
