Delicious food at brilliant prices with a view overlooking the sea from the top floor balcony — the potato and vegetable curry was the best. Fresh juices are amazing and extremely affordable, big portions, very tasty seafood — location is excellent within walking distance of the museum and main landing point, though the place needs refurbishments.

The restaurant provided delicious food at brilliant prices and the atmosphere was great. We sat on the balcony edge and we were able to watch the hustle and bustle of Lamu from above.
Went for dinner and I loved it. We had some of the tastiest food in Lamu for an excellent price overlooking the sea. The potato and vegetable curry was the best.
I can only comment on their food. They serve it at the top floor, overlooking the docks. It's great, big places, very tasty, seafood seemed fresh. Just try it
Decent food, a bit spicy. They have fresh juices which ate amazing and at extremely affordable prices. They french fries were not the best. Service is great and the waitress was very kind.
An intimate, all-suite boutique hotel in Karen with four-poster beds and Out of Africa ambiance. At $350 for a Deluxe Suite, Hemingways offers genuine luxury — but Karen's isolation is the trade-off.
