Nice, calm, safe, and close to city —very close to the Nairobi National Park. If you’re looking for a quiet, spacious campsite not far from main city, Rimpa Estate is a really solid choice. Kevin (the owner/manager) is genuinely kind — very helpful, responsive, and he made check-in and the whole stay feel smooth and easy. Everything was exactly as promised. The place is peaceful, calm, and gives you that proper “switch off” vibe — no noise, no drama, just good camping energy. A few highlights: # Feels safe — guards are around and clearly alert # Spacious grounds with room to spread out # We did some trekking and even spotted a few animals # There’s a nice disc golf course (fun bonus!) # They didn’t charge us for the fire pit or firewood for the two nights we stayed # Clean toilets, plus a big table and plastic chairs (can accommodate around 12 people) Big plus: it’s very close to Nairobi, so it’s perfect for a quick weekend escape without a long drive.

An incredible place to walk around. The property is a gem and hard to believe you’re so close to the city. So many animals in the wide open spaces. One of the world’s most unique and memorable places to play disc golf. The course guide is kind, helpful, and insightful. Encouraged to call ahead. Won’t be disappointed.

Great disc golf course in the conservancy with high chances to see wild life while playing. Highly recommended! You should definitely try it. Don't worry Kevin will instruct you with a lot of patience and dedication. Very reasonable and family friendly prices!

Excellent wild landscapes in the middle of the city. 10 minutes drive from Rongai. Grazers and wildlife (zebra, giraffe, antelopes ) going about their things while one can camp and chill. There is a huge chill space (Banda) with running tap, water and clean Restrooms. The gentleman who served us was polite and offered us any help we needed. Plastic Chairs were also provided. Good safe space for kids to enjoy as well. Safe parking.

Rimpa ist definitely worth a visit. Beautiful scenery and lots of animals. Kevin, the host, does everything to make your stay a pleasant one. Small downside is a lot of airtraffic. We will come back soon!
