  Nyati Safari camp is a good place to stay and have safari in Amboseli. They offer walk in safari in the morning for 90mins or so. They charge USD 20 per person, whether adult or child. Food is good here with multiple options. Rooms are spacious and with in-room washroom facility. But no hand shower available in the toilet (which was the most difficult thing for us). We stayed their for 2 nights in a family room, which consists of 5 beds (😁), the room has a great view of Mount Kilimanjaro and the savannah. Highly recommended.

  We arrived Wednesday and have enjoyed safari and a lovely relaxing stay. The food has been wonderful and the service has been outstanding. Looking forward to a final day of safari tomorrow after an evening enjoying the facilities. Everything was perfect! Thank you Nyati Safari Camp!

  A great resort for staying in Amboselli. Located about 5 / 6 kilometres away from the entrance gate of the Park, the resort is located in a calm and lonely environment-somewhat extended part of the Amboselli National Park. The night here is a bit overwhelming as miniscule lights lighten the room very dim and although outside lights do exist, the darkness and occasional animal sounds in the background gives an eerie feeling. The facilities provided are adequate looking into the location. Room lights powered by Solar goes off at 10.30PM but path lights inside the resort camp stays ON throughout the night. The electricity is again restored at early morning. Water supply is Ok and hot water supply is also available. Indians face problems in toilets as only tissue paper is provided in the lavatory with no provision of water or faucet. This is a common problem in all Kenyan hotels we stayed in and had to manage by using empty water bottles. Tents are adequately big and most of them have sufficient beds to accommodate 6 to 10 adults although our tour manager allocated 2 heads per tent. Rooms were clean and airy when window covers were lifted. Overall good. No ACs and frankly speaking ACs are not required. The dining hall is roughly 50 metres from the tents outside the tent campus. Dining hall is adequately sized. The food, although good, is not at all compatible with Indian taste. But it was OK for me as I prioritised Safari rides over anything else including food and rooms in the trip. There is a Bar with many kinds of alcoholic drinks available although the price is high. Cigarettes and bottled water are also available. Lastly the staff were very good, co-operative, helpful and always reachable. One more thing, the Google map doesn't show the roads for the resort correctly as the gravel and murram roads to the hotel are not properly laid out. Despite few negatives, the resort is highly recommended due to its proximity to park and other facilities.

  We had such a lovely time at the campsite—everything was just perfect. Jane is an exceptional hostess; when my husband suddenly fell ill, she went out of her way to care for him, offering drinks and genuine kindness that meant so much to us. The entire staff radiates happiness and warmth, making the atmosphere feel incredibly welcoming. And the campfire...Absolutely magical—it’s the perfect spot to relax, unwind, and take in the peaceful surroundings. We can’t wait to return!

  Amazing is the only word to describe Nyati. The tent rooms are huge, hot water and views of Kilimanjaro. The food delicious and the staff are so welcoming and kind and really made my stay special. I did the sundowners with Gift and it was so good. It's going to be hard to beat having a cocktail in the middle of a plain, watching the beautiful sunset with Kilimanjaro in the distance while giraffes and zebras walk by. Highly recommend staying at Nyati and doing the sundowners. Thank you, Anita, Gift, Malonza and the rest of the staff for a very special stay 😊
