Fifteen minutes from Amboseli with Mt. Kili views from the Lioness cabin and a staff (shoutout Kennedy for fixing broken shoes) that's shy but genuinely helpful. The dinner in the bush is fantastic, the sunrise is stunning, but know the 17km road is rough, wifi's only in the restaurant, and the shower's cold — it's rugged comfort, not luxury polish.
