  The idea of the camp is fantastic, but there is potential of improvement. First of all, we enjoyed our time there and it is a special place, perfectly located for a visit in amboseli national park. But there are a few things you should know: There is a 17km very rough road to the camp. Wifi is only available in the restaurant (not in the rooms/tents), no AC in the tents, very less water for showering, not every tent has a whirlpool (we hadn‘t one), another important point to know, there is no electricity from 11pm to 5am and between 6am and 6:30pm. You are reliant on solar power, so no sun or clouds means no electricity. That can probably extend the times of no power.

  Little Amanya Camp was lovely and the right balance of comfort and ruggedness for a camping trip. We were shown to our cabin, the Lioness, which had views towards Mt Kili. The room was comfortable, maybe a little shabby, however we enjoyed relaxing by the pool and firepit. The food was a little limited but fine for dinner and breakfast the following morning. The staff were very friendly throughout our whole stay.

  Little Amanya Camp is a good place to go to in Amboseli. The Camp offered good bathroom facilities and great food. The staff were very welcoming and the morning sunrise was just wonderful. The only issues that we had are the cleanliness of the camp as it was a bit disappointing and the variety of food as we had nearly the same thing the whole stay. Overall though, TheDodoCampers Approved.

  A recommendation which is near Amboseli National Park, around 15-20 minutes by transport. Cannot compare with the chained hotel groups, but I can describe it as a small and warm place to stay. I stayed at their elephant suite for 2 nights, warm welcome from the staff. They might be a little shy, but they are really nice and helpful. My shoe was broken on the day of arrival, I asked my tour guide if there is any glue would help. One of the staff, Kennedy, heard it, and he help to repair it, not by glue but by sew and needle. And he made sure it fit my foot and felt comfortable, it helps me a lot for my remaining safari trip. The food is not bad, as you can imagine in a place where away from the town. I like the tomato soup very much, and the beef stew is good also. And for the room, which is a tented camp, it's well equipped, with hot water. One only inconvenient would be the limitation on electricity, no supply from 23:00 till 05:00. But it won't affect us. And maybe this is also a good chance to escape from the modern and enjoy the nature that made by God. I really like to see the starry sky when I get out from the tent at night🤩 Just a bit pity of the cloudy weather and unable to see the mountain Kilimanjaro.

  We had a great time there ! The dinner in the bush was fantastic. Thank you to all the staff ! And they were very accommodating. Amazing view in the evenings and sunsets. Just one thing to improve: the shower was cold and the bath advertised was not working ...
