Great place for watching hippos up close, with fishermen offering boat safaris that are very cool. Access to the beach is down a narrow road that's not as wide and open as it used to be. Still a good spot to catch a ride on the water.

    Great for watching hippos. The fishermen took us for a boat safari, which was very cool.

    Access to the beach is down a narrow road with a brick wall to the left. Not wide and open like it used to be. Not as scenic but still a good place to catch a boat ride from.

    This is a very unique alkaline lake with Rich biodiversity from Nile hippos, different birds species both local and migratory, breathtaking views including the lesser flamingos which sometimes flock the lake there are also fish about three types, tilapia, catfish and carps which about 90%of the birds feed on and that makes it a nice place to visit.
