  What an incredible stay! The property is beautifully tucked among the trees with stunning views of the Ewaso Nyiro River — a refreshing breeze and total tranquility. The staff were amazing — so warm, attentive, and always going the extra mile, from catering to our group’s varied diets to appearing with dry towels and cool drinks at just the right moment. Our game drives were unforgettable, with a guide who was both knowledgeable and patient — we even got to see a leopard up close! The rooms were luxurious with river views, and the food was absolutely top-notch, easily five-star quality. Can’t wait to return — it’s the perfect mix of comfort, wilderness, and genuine hospitality.

  I had an absolutely wonderful stay at Soroi Samburu Lodge. Waking up to the breathtaking sunrise from my balcony was magical, and the frequent visits from kudus – plus an unexpected appearance from an elephant – made it even more special. I also had the opportunity to visit Soroi Laserns Camp, which exceeded my expectations. The property itself is stunning, but what truly stood out was the exceptional hospitality of the staff. They went above and beyond to make me feel welcome. Experiencing the vibrant Samburu cultural songs and traditional attire added a unique and authentic touch to my stay. The game drives were phenomenal — spotting the Samburu Special Five was an unforgettable highlight. And the food? Simply excellent! The presentation and flavors were top-notch, easily a 10/10 dining experience. I highly recommend both Soroi Samburu Lodge and Soroi Laserns Camp to anyone looking for an immersive and luxurious safari experience with authentic cultural touches. This trip created memories I will cherish forever.

  We booked an 11-day safari through Premier Safari and worked closely with our rep to choose the right lodges and Soroi Samburu Lodge was our first stop. We stayed for three nights, and it instantly became one of our favorites of the entire trip. We were welcomed with a beautiful ceremony by local warriors, complete with music, jumping and warm towels. A truly special way to kick off our safari adventure. The lodge itself is absolutely stunning. It's perched above the river with panoramic views where we watched kudu grazing below and elephants across the water. The pool area is picture-perfect, and the atmosphere strikes the perfect balance between luxury and nature. Great Wifi! What truly made this place stand out was the staff. Jesse and Daniel were fantastic hosts, and the entire team — Petro, Peter, Rosa, and Leadsimo — gave us some of the best service we’ve ever experienced. Every night featured a different themed dinner (like Italian or African cuisine), and they even prepared boxed breakfasts and lunches for our game drives when requested. If you're headed to Samburu, I can’t recommend Soroi Samburu Lodge enough. It was a magical beginning our journey.

  From arrival to departure we enjoyed our stay to the utmost. Stuff was extraordinary and let me tell you about the food. The steak i ordered was to the point. Juicy and tender. Location is great - if you are lucky you will have a couple if visitors while enjoying your food (we had Kudus and elephants saying hi). Kudos to set up such a great place in the middle of the bush.

  Of the 5 places we stayed while in Kenya, this one stood head and shoulders above the rest (and we stayed in the very best places). The service, attention to detail, and quality was unparalleled. The food was amazing, and they took great care in accommodating several allergies in our group. The rooms were so beautiful and comfortable. Daniel as manager has done an amazing job with this property. Samburu was amazing- saw so many animals, including leopard and cheetah. If I had the opportunity to return to Kenya, this is the ONLY place I would want to stay.
