A beautiful brand-new bed and breakfast along the river in Archer's Post run by Martine, a French-Canadian with excellent service and attention to detail. The kids love the pool, it's great for walks, and the off-grid property is perfect for Samburu visits.

    Our family had a wonderful weekend at Samburu Dik-Dik Lodge. Martine and Jonathan were lovely. The location was great, just next to the river, which made for a nice walk. The kids loved the pool and the food was really nice. We would visit again!

    My partner and I had a great stay here while in Samburu. Martine and Jonathan were such great hosts, lots of great information and a truly beautiful home. Would recommend to anyone visiting Samburu!

    A lovely lodge. Night sky is beautifully lit up with stars. Wonderful to be outside. Lodge is comfortable, hot at the start of the night, cools off later. You can enjoy more restful sleep in the early hours when the breeze sets in. Lovely patio for a relaxing morning.

    A great location near the parks and right by the river with its soothing sounds. The self catering cottage (Susek House) is comfortable, clean, very well equipped and has everything you need. The compound has 24 hr security, it’s quiet, relaxing, Luna and Mocha the resident donkeys are great company, coming to visit for rubs when you are at the cottage. The main house, Dik Dik lodge near the river is clean, modern, comfortable, with a deep pool and a great roof terrace with sweeping views of the stunning surrounding landscape. Martine the host is a very kind lady and is always available to help whenever you need it. I highly recommend staying here for a relaxing stress free stay 😊

    Beautiful brand new bed and breakfast lodge located along the river in Archer’s Post. It is run by Martine, a French-Canadian with excellent service and attention to detail. The property rubs off-grid and even has a refreshing lap pool. They can arrange a chef to come prepare healthy meals. I cannot recommend enough, as this was a welcome respite during my drive across Africa.
