About

Warm rooms in a relaxed hotel offering 3 restaurants, an outdoor pool & a spa, plus breakfast.

Set on a rocky hillside with calm gardens and solid conference facilities, but the food runs out during events and staff can be unhelpful when things go wrong. Come for the serene location and breakfast spread—skip the spa, which is located right next to the generator.

I had a conference here and it was a cool experience. Driving through the climbing lane from Kisumu City, the rocky hillside and gree landscapes were beautiful. I loved that the hotel has a lot of plants, flowers and calm atmosphere.

Good hotel, serene location and facilities. However, our experience during a recent comference wasn't the best: foods ran out, plus unhelpful staff who seemed unbothered and kept referring to another, including the supervisor ruininh the one's stay at such a beautiful hotel. Professional customer service is wanting.

I had a lovely stay at the Royal Swiss for a work meeting. The hotel is nice, food was delicious, the grounds and pool (and badminton court) are lovely, and staff were helpful and friendly. My one bad experience was at the spa. I would give it 1 star if I could. The massage rooms are located right at the gym so the music was really loud and towards the end of the massage (in the last 10 minutes), the masseuse ANSWERED HER PHONE AND CHATTED FOR A FEW MINUTES WHILE STILL MASSAGING ME! It ruined the massage. I reported it to management and they said "Oh, that is too bad." So, if you go to Royal Swiss and want to get a massage, please make it clear that you expect professional behavior during your massage (i.e., not answering their phone!).

Making a return after years to see the pla e different and much improved. The service is excellent and staff are helpful. The breakfast spread was very good, guarantee you'll leave satisfied. The rooms may require some minor touch ups due to time but overall a good place to stay. Used the gym facilities for the first time and appreciated the help of the in house trainer. The equipment is also extensive and well maintained.
