I recently spent some time at Tamarind Tree Hotel, and honestly, it’s a really beautiful place with a warm, relaxing vibe. The first thing that hits you is the ambience, the hotel feels calm, well-designed and full of character. The art pieces across the hotel make the space feel alive and thoughtfully curated. It’s one of those hotels where you actually stop to look at the décor. The food was another highlight. From breakfast to the meals during the day, everything was fresh, tasty and well-prepared. Location-wise, it’s super convenient, especially if you’re flying through Wilson Airport. It’s close enough to make movement easy without the usual Nairobi traffic stress. The outdoor pool, the lounge areas, and the general layout of the hotel make it a great place to unwind after work or meetings. My only real issue was the Wi-Fi policy for conference guests. For a hotel that hosts meetings and events, limiting internet access and turning it off at 5pm just doesn’t match today’s digital reality. People still need to work, send reports, or catch up on emails after sessions. It’s a small thing, but it makes a big difference.

Great hotel! The best hotel breakfast I’ve ever had, so many high quality options. I was impressed by the 10+ juice selection. The room service was also nice! Highly recommend the corn soup. The rooms were very clean and updated. The gym is in good shape and the pool is AMAZING. This property felt extremely safe, they even have bag scanners and metal detectors to get in. There’s also an attendant who checks each car before letting them in. The staff was always super friendly, warm and on top of things. Unfortunately the WiFi is horrible here, just be prepared

Very clean! Safe. Didn’t use the pool but hotel amenities were great! Gym was well appointed, clean and very well maintained Massage services offered didn’t have a dedicated spa area. Rather massages were given in spare hotel rooms. Explains the ��affordable” prices offered. Let’s just say the massages my wife and I received from Eve and Jane were absolutely outstanding. Very professional and extremely well done! From our discussions with both Eve and Jane we understand both are trained as Massage Therapist and the treatments we received were worth every penny! Hopefully a dedicated spa facility will be available to truly showcase the spa services. Staff in the dining area and front desk very extremely polite and friendly. Service was excellent

The hotel was very nice and check in went well with great service. The breakfast was well done. The buffet had a great variety. The only reason I can’t give it five stars is we arrived on a Friday night after a long flight expecting to get a good nights sleep. Instead we felt like we were in the middle of a club. The DJ and music blared until 2am. We called the front desk a bit before 1am and was told they were finishing up but it went another hour.
