About

Mexican-inspired food with a Kenyan twist — the tacos and the burritos are flavorful, portions are big, and everything's affordable. It's casual, colorful, and the margaritas are strong. Go for a fun group dinner or late-night food after drinks.

Since 2014, I have known this special place. The owner is also the chef, which sometimes means that the food takes a little longer to arrive at the table. But in the end, the wait is worth it – the dishes are tasty and enjoyable. Most guests come here for the breathtaking view. The moment you look down into the valley for the first time, it truly takes your breath away. With a bit of luck, you can even see or hear elephants in the distance. A trip here is always rewarding. On my next visit, I plan to bring my drone and 360° camera to capture some beautiful aerial shots and immersive videos to share. As for the rooms, I cannot comment, since I have only ever been a day visitor.

We came here for lunch. The view is amazing but that’s about where the good things end. We waited over an hour for the food, just to be disappointed. I ordered butter and lemon chicken with chips masala, and it also came with a small salad. The chicken was flavourless and came in a pool of molten butter and the salad was dry, while the chips masala were mediocre.
