  Service is very good. Bathrooms in the tents would need a refresh but, overall, they are comfortable! Consider that it is not inside of Amboseli Park, but outside.

  Views of Kilimanjaro & proximity to Amboseli are definitely the selling point. The grounds are well kept. The accommodation is tented but secure, however we felt the tents are looking dated/ tatty, same issue with the bathroom which is in need of modernisation. On a whole staff were friendly, they did apply pressure for us to sit as a group which we didn’t like. Plenty of wildlife within the camp & I’d advise ear plugs if you’re a light sleeper as wildlife is noisy!

  This was my second stay here, and this time I brought my family with me. I absolutely love this place. The lodge is very peaceful, surrounded by nature, and feels like a true escape. The rooms are comfortable, the staff is incredibly kind and welcoming, and the buffet is really good. Another big plus is the location — it’s very close to the entrance of Amboseli National Park, which makes everything easy and convenient. Overall, I find the value for money excellent. I would happily come back and highly recommend this place.

  Beholding Mt Kilimanjaro from 4.8 km - could not have been possible without Senterim Amboseli! The spacious rooms, rustic feel of staying inside a jungle, and clear blue sky - The perfect stay before departing from Kenya. An experience in the lap of Mother Nature and waking up to the picturesque Kilimanjaro - breathtaking indeed!

  The camp is not far from Amboseli’s gate and has a nice viewpoint of Mount Kilimanjaro. Rooms have all the necessary facilities including a hairdryer, but feel dated with dim lighting. The shower has hot water, but the pressure is very low. We were woken up by hot-air balloons taking off around 5 a.m every day. The restaurant staff were friendly, but the food wasn’t good. We got a bad stomachache after the second day. We only had food provided by the camp that day. Service was inconsistent. The staff who led us to our room were impatient and complained we walked too slow. Around dinner time, we saw some animals, possibly warthogs, running right in front of us inside the camp and we didn’t feel safe. Some items in the gift shop were also overpriced compared to the airport. Overall I wouldn’t recommend this place.
