About

Understated rooms & apartments (some with kitchens) in a low-key property with a pool & event space.

The exteriors look fancy and the pool's decent for a couple's hangout, but expect broken drawers, AC that may not work, and salty tap water. They'll use sweet words to get you in, but the reality's different once you unpack.

It was a great place to hangout as a couple... The rooms are fancy... The services were a bit down but despite that they know how to do their stuff so it never ruined anything... I enjoyed my every single penny... They deserved it

They use sweet words to get you in but the reality is different once u stay here you will realize that and most of the time you find drawers broken and ac not working so you complain about it but no one cares it’s the worst! The cartens and sofa covers go on an clean the doors don’t close or don’t lock

We stayed at the studio apartment with kitchenette at Makwetu villas for two nights. The manager was kind to give us an early check in. The building looks nice, the rooms are clean and the garden is nice but that is the end of good things. The exteriors might be nice but things in the room are quite run down - the tap knobs, door handles are broken, the fan doesn't work, only one light works - there were some lampshades too which didnt work so its dark in the evenings. We also didn't find the beds comfortable. We could feel the springs in the mattress, i dont know whether it is because they are of poor quality or over used but they are not comfortable to sleep.
