  Incredible time staying here and an amazing experience! Truly once in a lifetime—it was so cool seeing the giraffes and feeding them. They are so so close to you and we ate breakfast near them too. The staff is extremely accommodating and friendly and they just want to ensure you have a memorable time. It’s a small place (only like, 12 people can stay at once), so be sure to book out far in advance. Definitely will remember this place for the rest of my life.

  I’ve wanted to go to Giraffe Manor for years — and the experience more than lived up to my expectations. It’s an absolutely magical place to stay if you’re a giraffe lover. Having afternoon tea and breakfast with the giraffes is something you’ll never forget. One of my favourite moments was feeding Waridi from our room at 6am; this was a truly surreal experience. The food was delicious, the rooms are luxurious and spacious (we stayed in Lynn), and we enjoyed a lovely swim and coffee at the tranquil Retreat in the afternoon. I also loved the little touches and care that have gone into everything (like the giraffe stencil on the cappuccino and the delicious homemade snacks in the rooms). Our waitress, Faith, was amazing. She knew each of the giraffes really well, took fantastic photos of us during feeding times, and made sure we had everything we needed. In fact, the service from the entire Giraffe Manor team was exceptional from start to finish. From the handwritten note in our room, to the birthday cake and singing I got at the evening meal, and the team dropping off a spare luggage tag for me where I was staying after I ruined mine — they truly went above and beyond. 10/10 experience, would recommend!

  My wife and I spent a relaxing day at the Retreat at the Giraffe Manor. The property is beautiful. The day use room was fantastic. Ava at the front desk was great. The stay included a visit to the Giraffe Centre. We got a couples’ massage at the spa and our masseurs (Susan & her colleague) were amazing. The restaurant staff were excellent too. The property also gave us a car & driver (Julius) for the day. Julius was very helpful and ensured we were comfortable throughout. A bit pricey, but totally worth it!

  Amazing experience on honeymoon with my wife. If you're on the fence, just splurge. Wished we had stayed two nights. Will be back for sure. The staff and the manor are equally amazing. We stayed in Marlon which was a second floor room with balcony in the main manor. Couldn't have asked for better, including feeding the giraffes at dawn on our balcony. Jackson made sure our experience was unforgettable, he made sure we never missed photo opportunities to remember our time at the manor. Thank you Jackson for your excellent service and warm smile.

  Jambo Jambo! Our family of six had the most unforgettable stay at Giraffe Manor, truly a once-in-a-lifetime experience. Even though we only stayed one night, it was the perfect amount of time to enjoy all the magical giraffe feeding times and soak up the charm of this iconic place. A special mention to our butler William, who went above and beyond to make our stay extra special. He was attentive, thoughtful and made everything seamless for our family. The staff overall were warm, welcoming and genuinely friendly, and the food was absolutely delicious. We stayed in the Salma Room, which was comfortable and beautifully presented. The two single beds were combined into a larger bed, which worked well for us. There wasn’t hot water during our stay, but this didn’t detract from the overall experience as everything else was so exceptional that it still deserves five stars. Giraffe Manor is everything we dreamed it would be and more. We left with incredible memories, lots of giraffe kisses and a deep appreciation for the wonderful team who made our stay so special. Highly recommend. 🦒💛
