  Location - bit out from town not easily public transport. Standard room doesnt have AC and rate for room is 100$ per night. Doesn't have indian food options and prices are too high for food. Property is god, but over all doesn't serve the value for money.

  Ordered food was very much delayed Quantity was not sufficient Quantity is also not upto the standard. The salad mix was not adequate.

  Although Boma Inn is a small hotel and maybe not the newest or greatest, I found my stay there very comfortable and trouble-free. Boma Inn is located in an upmarket neighbourhood of Eldoret, and the location is very quiet. While this means that there's some distance between you and amenities such as shopping malls, it is only about 2 kilometres away from town, so this isn't a big issue. The facility includes a gym, steam room and sauna that are accessible to guests at no extra charge. The gym could use some upgrades and gender separation for some facilities, but it is generally okay otherwise. There's also a pool, but weather and time didn't allow me to use it. The standard rooms have no air-conditioning, but Eldoret weather is cold enough for you not to notice this omission. A fan is provided though, but again, you won't use it. Boma Inn provides a dental kit in the room. It's a small thing, but I've been to many hotels that are far more expensive that forget this minor detail. Kudos for this; it shows that Boma prioritizes the comfort of guests. The staff are very helpful and friendly, and are always willing to go above and beyond to ensure guest comfort. If the management of Boma Inn is reading this, please let the waitress Mary know that her attention to detail is noted and appreciated. Meals are excellent; the steak and soups in particular are pure perfection. They occasionally serve dinner a-la-carte and they are very generous in this regard; if it's cold, they'll keep the hot drinks coming -- speaking of which, their "dawa" is excellent. Breakfast doesn’t include bacon, so you might miss this if you are a pork fan. Everything else is great though, and the masala tea really "slaps" (i.e. it's very good, for those not familiar with this expression). In general, breakfast is excellent. Their rooms are generally comfortable and you'll get a good night's sleep. The shower water temperature is more than adequate and the soundproofing between rooms is excellent. The only concern I have in this regard is the number of towels; an extra towel would be nice, but I got the feeling that the staff will gladly provide extras if you ask. There's a work area in the rooms with excellent views of the garden area (I've included photos of the same in this review). If you're travelling for business and would like to work on your laptop during the day, this space will serve you well. In general, if you are looking for a midsized hotel in Eldoret that's comfortable, welcoming and has friendly staff, Boma Inn will serve you very well.

  Re moved over from the Eka Hotel because some issues with noise. The service at Boma is amazing. The rooms could use a slight upgrade, such as better pillows, softer mattress. TV is excellent for international news and movies. Location is quiet and serene. Pool is private and lovely. One main issue is, while the gym is excellent for any gym buffs, there are nice dry and wet saunas, but they are coed. No designated times for women or men. You have to walk through the gym from the changing room to the saunas. Even if wearing my gym clothes, I have little interest in taking a sauna with a hairy mostly naked dude! The saunas are sketchy.
