  We recently stayed at Ziwa Beach Resort, and while the setting is beautiful, the experience was completely ruined by the management—specifically Nico. A resort is only as good as the people running it, and unfortunately, the leadership here is severely lacking. During my stay, I found the management to be: Unprofessional: Interactions with Nico were dismissive and cold. Instead of feeling like a valued guest, I felt like an inconvenience. Poor Communication: Requests made to the front desk or regarding services were either ignored or met with excuses. There is a clear disconnect between the staff and the management. Lack of Accountability: When an issue arose with my booking/room, Nico showed zero interest in resolving it or offering a sincere apology. It’s clear that guest satisfaction is not a priority for him. It’s a shame because the property has potential, but I cannot recommend a place where the management treats guests with such indifference. If you are looking for hospitality and a stress-free vacation, look elsewhere.

  We had a terrible experience on the New year Eve...from the rude Gatekeepers who aren't trained on how to handle check ins, to seemingly overwhelmed waitress ...there were only two serving a whole restaurant .Having paid 3500 per person at the gate and being questioned rudely by the waitress and the chef /supervisor at the food corner as if we were beggars or intruders ! The only positive thing I'd talks about is the view and access to the beach and the guests vibe plus the DJ's music which we choose to flow with instead of ruining our already ruined night. We didn't feel like we got any value for our money at all .

  Third rate resort. Its in need of new management. Food service very slow. No changing rooms, told to change in the smelly toilets ! This is unacceptable. There is a tap to wash your feet when coming back in from the beach but no outside shower to rinse yourself off from sand or the plentiful seaweed by the waters edge. I wouldn’t recommend to others.

  Ziwa Beach Resort has a fantastic location — is absolutely beautiful — right on the beach with amazing views and easy access to the ocean. 🌴 However, my stay wasn’t very comfortable. The room I was given wasn’t the one I booked, and it felt quite off. The linens and pillows really need an upgrade — they didn’t feel clean or fresh, which made it hard to relax. 😕 With better attention to guest comfort, cleaner linens, and the right room allocations, this place could easily be a top choice in Mombasa.

  If you're looking for a lush and scenic spot in mombasa this is the place to be. Enjoy a healthy breakfast featuring all-natural vegetarian food. You will have stunning beachfront views, which are rare in Mombasa. The rooms are spacious, featuring large sea view balconies.
