  The best stay at Sarova Whitesands. The food was excellent! Live cooking stations, bbq stations, pasta stations - every breakfast, lunch and dinner. The staff are always so helpful and happy! Jimmy was such a lovely stand out waiter as was Nancy the restaurant host. Thank you for a wonderful holiday!

  Sarova White Sands Beach Resort is a fantastic place to stay in Mombasa. From the moment we arrived, the warm hospitality and friendly staff made us feel welcome. The beachfront location is simply stunning — pristine white sand, clear blue water, and breathtaking views right from the resort. The rooms were comfortable, clean, and beautifully designed, with lovely sea views that made waking up each morning a joy. There are plenty of activities to enjoy, from swimming in the ocean or pool to relaxing by the beach with a drink. The food was delicious with a great variety at the buffet and excellent service throughout. Whether you’re traveling with family, friends, or as a couple, Sarova White Sands offers a relaxing, fun, and memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the Kenyan coast! 🌴☀️🌊

  Sarova Whitesands: Where Hospitality Becomes Family Sarova Whitesands is, without question, the most personable hotel in Kenya. We returned for our usual December holiday, a family tradition since 2013, and once again felt how deeply known and valued we are. Staff immediately noticed that our older children—who have joined us every December for years—were missing this time, a small detail that speaks volumes about the hotel’s personal touch. Our early arrival was handled seamlessly by Claire with VIP check-in, and Natalie from Housekeeping ensured our room was ready early, beautifully prepared, and welcoming. When we experienced an AC issue on the first night, Agatha responded with grace—arranging a quick fix and surprising us with a seamless upgrade to a premier sea-facing room. Agatha truly stood out. She checked in on us every morning, remembered our family’s holiday patterns, and even offered to keep us updated on future offers for our children’s August visits. That level of consistency and care is rare. From Beryl’s personally arranged masala tea at breakfast, to Sylvia’s warm invitation to Thai Chi, to Tracy at the Ozone Kids Club creating a special bond with our daughter, every interaction felt intentional and heartfelt. A late check-out to match our afternoon flight was the perfect final gesture. Despite being a large hotel, Sarova Whitesands makes you feel seen, connected, and at home. Agatha, in particular, stole our hearts. This is more than a hotel—it’s a family tradition and a legacy our children will carry forward for years to come.

  Sarova Whitesands Beach Resort & Spa is a beautiful and relaxing place to stay in Mombasa. The hotel is very well maintained, peaceful, and spacious. The food is delicious with a wide variety of options, so everyone can find something they enjoy. The atmosphere is calm but not boring — there are activities for those who want them and quiet areas for those who just want to relax. The beach, pools, and overall environment make it perfect for both couples and families. A very enjoyable and comfortable stay overall.

  My goodness! Sarova Whitesands ....boy O boy paradise for real! Like my experience at the Sarova Mara oh they don’t disappoint! the rooms super airy, comfy beds & clean, hot & cold water whatever tickles your fancy you good! ....endless pools for laps & for us checking our stroke form😇 or for floaters they got you covered! So much resting and seating areas & for those looking for little space to work you’re spoiled for choice! Easy beach access, ...oh not so sure about parking thou for a hotel with 300+ rooms but not to put you Off! & to the most important part for me at least" food"oh dear they don't disappoint, be it its breakfast/lunch or Dinner, surprising your taste buds with each new day is they're speciality, sadly at my age my metabolism has slowed down to eat all that excites my taste senses! The service is warm & respectful. Can't wait for a do over! Hope they finish fixing the roads soon for its ruining the outside looks!
