  Was hosted at hotel for the #AMRKenya2026 conference. Serene, calming ambience of the location, excellent rooms with great views of the sea and such a warm, efficient and friendly staff! Conference amenities superb; fresh and splendid variety of meals and snacks, on-site conference room outside kitchen! Lovely experience! Certainly best value for money!

  Pros It was an amazing place to visit. On arrival, we were welcomed and offered a cold drink at the reception. The resort was clean and the staff were very polite and respectful. We booked half board so we had breakfast and dinner buffet. The buffet was great and with variety. Cons There were no drinks for the dinner buffet. We had to pay extra even for water during dinner and they don't tell you before hand. They get you to drink and then ask you to sign a bill after. I can understand if other drinks are charged but should have water included at the very least or let people know prior. Also the Jacuzzi was not working.

  My family and I appreciate the service of the waiters, especially Paul M (restaurant), Rosemary, Joyce, Jason, and the cleaning staff (601/602), who are kind and helpful to us. The waiters always locate where we are seated, and when they realize it is consistent, they always reserve the table for us. I also appreciate the cooks for accommodating my dietary restrictions. I also had fun at the Ushao set-up location, where people were eating traditional food and meat. I want to come again. Thanks

  An excellent place, the best service, the best location & excellent food. Service provided by Catherine, a young mohd lady on duty on 27th night of oct at reception were exceptional in public relations. Service provided by Boda & his counter part was exceptional. One small observation the breakfast on 28th was too good in comparison to the same on 29th was average. Mgt should try not to compromise on the name of Aga khan sahib for little more efforts. Otherwise excellent experience

  We spent two weeks here and loved it. This is a place great for relaxation and being pampered but there are plenty of options for exploring if you prefer (shout out for Ali and Marsden here). The rooms are well presented and kept very clean and tidy (thank you Gibson!) and there's plenty of storage space, even with two large suitcases. There are plenty of food choices, with the main restaurant, pool bar and another area in the courtyard. The main buffet restaurant does a stir fry night which is highly recommended. the Jahazi Grill does an amazing surf and turf special (check the board by the pool each day). Service in all areas is excellent (too many names to pick one person, all were great). They also have several eco initiatives which you should check out and support if you can (ask Marsden about them). We were lucky enough to see baby turtles being released (and cheered them on down the beach to the ocean). When you're sitting in the gardens or by the pool drinks and food service is brilliant (thank you Peter M!). Location, setting, ambience, quality of food and cleanliness are all top notch but what really makes this place is the staff that work there.
