  Definitely one of the best resorts we’ve ever stayed at but not a true all inclusive. The grounds are immaculately kept, all communal areas & toilets are absolutely spotless. There are 3 pools (one tiered consisting of 3 cascading) which cannot be faulted, they are absolutely spotless. We loved the infinity pool and there was always plenty of sunbeds throughout the day. We had a garden room which was a nice size, bed was extremely comfy and bathroom was spacious. Room had tea making facilities and a mini fridge which are always helpful. There were always plenty of choices for food, and we never went hungry. The staff are what make this resort outstanding, beyond friendly and can’t do enough for you. There’s plenty of wildlife, free roaming monkeys are cute but can be quite cheeky! My only criticism is that the ice cream truck and the health bar are not part of the all inclusive (there are also 2 à la cartes not included but we wouldn’t have used them anyway). There is also a premium drinks list if wanting branded spirits (we’re not big drinkers so not a deal breaker). We only stayed for 5 nights following a safari, but would definitely visit again if the chance arose.

  Where do I start with this amazing hotel. We was recommended this hotel by a Kenyan friend however we are not surprised why it was fully booked. We was originally staying at Swahili beach resort but then found baobab had some availability last minute so we changed hotels. We are so happy we did. The vibe was beautiful. Was like a big family. The rooms were cleaned immaculately and the staff were happy to help with absolutely anything !!!! Big shoutout to hassan hector (bar service) Paul (pool manager) Harriett Ian (security) Pascal and Laura ( jambo team ) and the beautiful man pictured who was the first to greet and made sure he was there to wish us safe travels when leaving. Never felt sad to leave a hotel but this hotel touched my heart. Can not wait to come back. From the management to the general staff you guys are a blessing. Recommend to everyone.

  Above average hotel, with very good swimming pools and plenty of staff. Good welcome. Room spacious and comfortable. Beware beach bandits, who will attempt to hoover your wallet dry. Leave one person at dining table at meal times, as staff will give your table away!!! Desserts very poor, but this was same at all hotels we visited on our tour. You need to pay to use the gym, on all-inclusive package!! What is that about?!! Other than that, ok/good stay.

  Fantastic. Even though the resort is rated 4 stars, the conditions and the staff are 5-star. The rooms are very clean, the food is excellent, the pools are large, and access to the beach is very easy. If you don’t want to eat at the buffet, there is also an �� la carte restaurant. I highly recommend this resort.

  We had a wonderful time at Baobab. The hotel is well located, justv10min drive from Ukunda Airstrip. I was very impressed with the Staff, who were excellent, very friendly and always ready to assist, from the front desk, wait staff, chefs, cleaners, porters. The all inclusive meals were also excellent, huge menu selection, different items every day, all very tasty. The inclusive cocktails were great too. Plenty of beach beds and pools, large clean, well manicured resort grounds, with playful monkeys, lizards and other creatures to discover. We had the garden rooms which were a bit small, but modern, with nice bathrooms, lighting and furniture. The main pool had a nice atmosphere, with music, games, water aerobics. The Jambo Team had impressive evening entertainment in the Amphitheatre. Highly recommend this resort.
