  I had the pleasure of staying at Saffron Garden Boutique Hotel for four days and three nights, and honestly, it was nothing short of an amazing experience. From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel genuinely welcome, warm, friendly, and always smiling. You can tell hospitality here isn’t forced, it’s natural. The food at Lobster House was consistently good, fresh, well prepared, and satisfying without trying too hard. Every meal felt like it was made with care. Now let’s talk about The Canopy Bar because wow! The cocktails were easily some of the best I’ve had in Malindi. Kelvin, the mixologist, clearly knows his craft. Every drink was balanced, creative, and just right. You don’t order a cocktail there, you experience it. And as if that wasn’t enough, the following morning he served cappuccinos with beautiful latte art that somehow made mornings feel even better. I almost felt bad drinking them... almost 😂 What really stood out was how helpful Kelvin was beyond the bar. He took time to suggest great places to visit around Malindi and recommended fun activities that made my stay even more memorable. It felt like having a local friend guiding you, not just hotel staff doing their job. Overall, my stay was relaxed, fun, and memorable in all the right ways. I’d happily recommend Saffron Garden Boutique Hotel to anyone visiting Malindi whether for leisure, a getaway, or just good food, great drinks, and even better people.

  Lovely experience at Lobster House in Saffron Gardens, Malindi. The service overall was warm and attentive, and the atmosphere and vibes were great for a relaxed outing. There were a few small hiccups at the beginning, but they were handled professionally and the team really stepped up. Special mention to Kelvin, who was an absolute gem and made sure everything ran smoothly. A great spot to enjoy the setting and hospitality.

  I had a wonderful dining experience at Lobster House. The ambience is absolutely to die for. I was equally impressed by the food and the plating as well, very fresh and flavorful. A big shout-out to the team for the excellent service; our wait time was minimal, and the staff were incredibly kind. This is definitely a place I look forward to visiting again!

  My wife and I ordered the saffron lobster, and it was the best lobster we’ve ever had in our lives. We also shared the loaded fries with chicken and it was absolutely amazing. I highly recommend this place. They offer options for all budgets, with prices starting from 1,000 KES. Service is great. So excited to finally have a good restaurant in Malindi.
