  I had an amazing experience. Great ambiance so welcoming staff and the reservation manager made our stay so comfortable considering we were a family with kids and oldies...just wow. The only hiccup was on breakfast. Not that it wasn't great it was absolutely good and excellent but it lacked variety every day you end up getting same things...

  We are happy with our stay in Malindi, the hotel is quiet. There is always a little background music during the day, which we really enjoy. The staff are friendly and competent. The king room with balcony was very clean, well equipped and comfortable. The receptionist presented the room as an ‘upgrade’. After checking our booking, it turned out that it wasn't an upgrade but what we had originally booked (nice try with the marketing ploy). The bedding is very good, but it is very hot and a sheet would be preferable to a duvet, even though there is air conditioning. All the windows have mosquito nets. The internet works very well and is high speed. The pool is also clean and not very busy. The sunbeds are also very comfortable. Bath towels are provided for guests. There is a wide choice for breakfast and dinner. In the morning, there is a buffet with hot local dishes, fruit and homemade cakes. Eggs can be ordered, as can hot drinks.

  We stayed at this hotel for 8 days, and unfortunately the overall experience was not relaxing. Positives: • Good restaurant and friendly staff, especially Bridget and Caroline • Good housekeeping services • Good laundry service • Well-maintained rooms • Nice pool area in principle What did not work at all: - The hotel is very small, which means noise travels everywhere. We could sometimes even hear staff during early breakfast preparations, including loud conversations and dishes being handled or thrown around, which added to the overall noise level. - In the evenings, there were still guests in the pool after 10 p.m. with their own Bluetooth speakers. - On top of that, music is played in the open restaurant and reception area, as well as via speakers at the pool area - directly next to our room. - Music was often only turned off around 11 p.m. or even midnight, and then turned back on again at 7 a.m., regularly waking us up. - Despite repeated and clear complaints at reception, this issue was never properly addressed. - During the last two days of our stay, the pool became green. - The wifi in the rooms is unstable, watching Netflix was not possible - Breakfast offers some variety, but it is not well adapted to attract European tourists. There is limited good bread, often dry, and overall the breakfast experience could definitely be improved. Simple measures (such as limiting music to the reception area in the morning, enforcing quiet hours in the evening, and banning speakers at the pool) could easily improve the experience, but these were ignored. Even though the hotel was far from fully booked and only a few guests were staying there during our visit, we still found the experience not relaxing at all due to the constant noise. If the hotel were to be fully booked, we honestly cannot imagine how loud it would be. For this reason, we don’t think this hotel is not suitable for guests looking for a quiet, peaceful boutique-hotel experience.

  Excellent place if you visit Malindi with great rooms, a nice and warm swimming pool, bar and restaurant with tasty meals and a spa/massage where you can get pampered by the masseuse Nasra. The rooms are big and bright, with air conditionning and spacious baths. The hotel is not far from the public beach, local attractions as ocean trips or fancy restaurants and clubs. A must to stay in place if you visit Malindi in order to impress your friends, family or yourself. 5 stars well deserved.

  If you want to get away and enjoy some real relaxation. This resort is absolutely lovely! Features spacious luxurious rooms and villas. It was such a great stay i wish i had stayed longer to enjoy everything they had to offer. The restaurant is great though i personally felt they could do better with the breakfast variety. The greenery around the space is lovely and the pool area really was relaxing and great to chill. Night swimming is allowed and that was so good.
