    Lovely restaurant if you want to have local food. We had Ugali with beans and it tasted really good! The waiters are all also really nice and the service is great. The only downside was the toilets that were shut when we were there - but maybe that has been fixed by now.

    We cannot recommend this place at all. TLDR: wait 3 hours no food, no attention from staff. We arrived at 19, ordered af 19.30. We followed up multiple times. At 21.30 I asked the waitress when we would get our food, to which she replied "I don't know", so I had to suggest she asked the kitchen, to which she said it was not her fault. 30 minutes later at 22, we asked again and were informed that they could not serve us any food. The staff was more busy with their phones, than checking if we needed anything to drink. We had a child with us to celebrate her birthday, when we had the cake we bought ourselves, the staff was busy in joining and making videos of themselves. With all this, they still gave us a bill for the drinks.

    Conveniently located. Good service. I love garden restaurants, good vibes. Good food. We are finding our way around Malindi, Kenya. Coming from Israel, and my husband from the UK, there's definitely going to be comparisons.... East West, Home's Best 😊
