  Tucked away on the edge of Tsavo East, this luxury gem is a dream woven into nature’s calm. From the moment you arrive, the warm smiles and soft Swahili greetings wrap around you like sunshine. The rooms? Pure comfort — cosy, spotless, and filled with quiet elegance. Each morning, I woke to the soft sounds of birds and golden light pouring through wide windows. The real magic, though, is the pool. It sits at the edge of the world, overlooking the wild plains where elephants wander and the wind hums stories. I swam under the open sky, with nothing but nature and peace all around. At sunset, the view is like a painting — fiery skies melting into the vast savannah. Dining was a delight — fresh, flavourful meals served with care, whether under the stars or in the airy lounge. Every detail of this hotel whispers luxury without trying too hard. It’s the perfect mix of wild and wonderful. A stay here isn’t just a getaway — it’s a gentle reminder of beauty, calm, and connection. I left rested, full of memories, and already dreaming of coming back.

  We stayed only 3 hours for lunch and some relax...it was an'amazing stop, but we didn't see the rooms. Two waterhole attract animal in the nearby valley...one of the best natural view of my life

  Rooms are fine, location is fantastic and the staff are just great here. There is a corridor which goes down to a bunker which is just a few metres from elephants in a watering hole hen they pass by. You will say WOW when you visit.

  Really good location! Fantastic view. The bath rooms could use an renovation and the matrices were really hard. I have to live gluten-free and therefore the staff had to tell me at the buffet (please be mindful with booking, as this is a high risk for celiac people) what I can eat. Unfortunately it was not so much and they did not assist any further. At other properties an extra side was made for me to make sure I am ok.

  The hotel's location is its strongest asset. The views are exceptional, and the lodge's infrastructure (access to the waterhole, swimming pool, etc.) is excellent. The food, compared to other lodges, is average – both the selection and quality could be better. All things considered - we are satisfied.
