Fantastic lodge, just a bit outside of the entrance gate to Tsavo East (30 mins). Rooms were clean, beds were comfy, water was hot, and staff were super amiable. Food was delicious and the lounge area was very beautiful.

Great staff and hospitality. Thanks Esther and Felicita for the services and the clean room. Don’t expect luxury but you can find all the services that you need: electricity, hot shower, drinks and great food. Location is great for Tsavo East (30min) and Voi SGR. The lodge also offer game drives at a good rate and David is knowledgeable and professional.

We were guests of the Eco-lodge in July 2025 and had the best experience. David and his staff are so caring and the experience was highly satisfactory. The rooms were comfortable and the food delicious. And the safary was incredible. We saw so many incredible wild life. David took us to the best spots. Highly recommend it for a unique experience in Kenya.

We had a great stay here. Good location for a combination of safari in both Tsavo east and west. David was our very friendly, knowledgeable and easy going guide for one day in west and one day in east. The lodge is situated outside Voi, and the location gave us the true wilderness feeling! Nice restaurant with good food and friendly staff. Hope to be back some day.

I recently had the opportunity to stay at Tausa Tsavo Eco-Lodge and to experience first-hand the wonderful atmosphere and service that David and his staff provide. As a low-budget, solo adventure traveler I was worried I would have to pass through the Tsavo region without visiting one of these magnificent parks. I stumbled upon this listing and called ahead, and was delighted when the staff was able to accommodate me--limitations and all. I spent an entire day in Tsavo East with David, who as others have mentioned is a knowledgeable and dedicated guide; he has a passion for these animals and the Kenyan park system and it shows. Whatever your budget and interests may be, give Tausa Tsavo a chance--I guarantee you the staff will make you feel special and right at home. (Also, the food was great!) If you stop by, tell them Jim sent you...and give them my best!
