Mt. Elgon Lodge! Located near Mount Elgon, this place is a hidden gem for nature lovers and adventure seekers. It offers a serene environment surrounded by lush forests, wildlife, and breathtaking views of the mountain. Visitors often use the lodge as a base for exploring Mount Elgon National Park, known for its unique caves (like Kitum Cave), waterfalls, and diverse flora and fauna. The area is also great for hiking, birdwatching, and cultural experiences with the local communities.

We stopped by to check it out. It isn't currently open but seems they are renovating it. Should be very nice when it opens.

It's a beautiful place and calm, next to a beautiful park, need to improve on service and rooms

Beautiful location, great staff, and good food. Hot water can be an issue, as well as the French fry eating cat.
