A restaurant, an outdoor pool & game drives in a relaxed, secluded lodge within a national park.
The buffet has delicious vegetarian food, fresh hot naan being made on the spot, and BBQ that'll make you consider going meat-free. Rooms are dated and could use more than a refresh, but the staff are welcoming and the pool's nice for a quick dip. Go for the food, not the amenities.

Ultra-luxury tented camp perched on the Great Rift Valley escarpment with Out of Africa views. At $1,850-2,750 per person per night, it's among Africa's most expensive — and most beautiful — safari properties.
