  This is one of the loveliest places I have stayed for many years. A beautiful and absolutely harmonious building - well, two buildings, actually - arranged around frangipani-scented gardens and pool. Alex and his team are fabulous - attentive without being intrusive, and utterly dedicated and professional. The room is extremely comfortable and has a well-equipped kitchen area. I have had the pool entirely to myself - even in high season, though, the hotel will never be too busy, as it has only a few rooms and an intimate feel. Food and drink are excellent, and this is five star luxury at three star prices. Crossing the quiet road brings you to the beach and - if you do desire - other restaurant options. A five minute tuk-tuk takes you to town. I live in Nairobi, and this is going to be my escape from now on. Simply wonderful!

  Villamalindi was like heaven. There was a very beautiful place. We were playing in the pool, drinking beer, having good seafood, and swimming in the pool again. Thank you, the owner Alex, and his kind staff.

  Amazing villa style leisure but most importantly huge thank you for hotel’s General Manager Alex who is above and beyond with every guest making sure the stay is good and always adding personal touch. Absolutely recommended - you will be in good hands!

  We stayed at Villa Malindi for 3 nights in April and will definitely stay here again the next time we are in Malindi. Highly recommend!The grounds are beautifully maintained and the rooms had everything we needed, most importantly a new AC unit in both bedrooms that kept us cool all night, power and a backup generator! Many of the small hotels we stayed at around coast had no back up so this was a huge relief for us. The owner, Alexander, was so welcoming and helpful. There are two parts to the villa, one with more traditional hotel rooms and the other side where the 2 bedroom unit includes a kitchen. We opted for the one with the kitchen and it was so convenient to heat up a small lunch for the kids, etc. highly highly recommend staying here!

  Best hotel i have ever stayed in! Very attentive and friendly staff, delicious food and a different, exquisite menu every day. The owner takes meticulous care of everything; he even went so far as to take us back to the airport all the way to security control. Many opportunities presented to go to different destinations, have unique experiences, visit beautiful places. Facilities are very clean and comfortable. Deserves 6 stars!!
