  I recently checked in to this resort and unfortunately my experience was disappointing. The first room I was given had a strong smell of fresh paint, which made it uncomfortable to stay in. I requested a room change, and while they did move me, the situation wasn’t handled very well. As compensation, I was given a voucher, but later I found out that the voucher was not valid, which added to the frustration. I expected better attention to guest comfort and clearer communication from a resort of this standard. Overall, this experience fell short of expectations.As another compensation i was give free lulunch at rhe buffet restaurant and late check out which was good,but better communication should be adhered to

  Great! Diamond Malindi is a great hotel with amazing facilities. Though the hotel felt overwhelmed in so many ways, maybe owing to our rime of visit during the Christmas period, the staff have really outdone themselves to make our stay memorable. From the front desk staff to the poolside attendants, all have done well to make the visitors feel at home. Great service by Alice, Naliaka and the front desk amd cocierge team. Amazing hospitality by Mama Flora and the housekeeping team. Great skill in Madafu preparation by Mr. Birya and great service by Josephat, Sam, Shabaan, Pharell and all the others at the poolside bars. Similar great service at the restaurants by Constance and the entire team (including the trainees). Good hosting by Nziva. In all a great experience.

  I stayed there for 2 nights , generally the hotel is clean and very well kept. Id say from many hotels that I have stayed over the years, this place had flavourful and tasty food. I'd suggest they widen the breakfast menu. The Sunday breakfast by the beach was a good touch. Generally service in the dining room is very prompt but when dealing with a specialised counters ( Sushi) it can get overwhelmed if there is a large crowd.

  A great place for holiday. Multiple pools, kids will have a great time, lots of open spaces. Staff are helpful and welcoming. Rooms are spacious and well decorated. Serenity is the hallmark and at the beach facility. Food is great with lots of variety

  I would recommend Diamonds Malindi. My partner and I stayed in October 2025. The main restaurant with the buffet is amazing - one of the best all-inclusive experiences I've had, due to the freshness, quality and variety of food. I would suggest putting the desserts on ice and giving them covers to protect from flies. The beach bar service and food availability was inconsistent. I suggest having a daily menu dependent of what is in stock. We stayed in a Masai Junior Suite to begin with, then went on safari (independently) and came back to stay in the Diamonds Suite with a private terrace. In comparison, the Diamonds Suite was much better, with more space, newer furnishings and the room was much less humid. I would not book the Masai Suite again, but would happily stay in the Diamonds Suite. The pool options are great, whether you want a quiet pool day or a more active one. I was impressed with the workshops and activities around the resort, although the spa could do with some love and attention to detail. The staff were friendly and helpful throughout, and I would visit again.
